One of the things that would be a lot better if Lego got the license is the builds. The figures would maybe drop in quality, but the build would go from being just a backdrop for each character to perhaps even an entire pizzeria. My dream is a UCS Mos Eisley Cantina esque set for each of the game’s pizzerias. That would be incredible

I’m ok with mcfarlene loosing the license, it was really hard to find some of their sets and when I did find them they were very expensive. Also I’m not sure if Lego could do the FNAF license because they really only do family friendly sets. But they have done sets for properties like Stranger Things so it could be possible for them to do five nights at Freddy’s

Fnaf is the only Franchise where a kid can be completely alright with gruesome lore and is somehow okay with dead children in animatronic suits.

it has creepy lore but the only "not very family friendly" part of the actual gameplay i could think of would be the part in fruity maze where all the fruit is replaced with dead dogs

I think one of four things could have happened: 1. Since Scott Cawthon retired, they can't make these without the help of the creator. 2. There has been no in person NY Toyfair to showcase them at since 2020, so they felt like they should discontinue making them since they won't be widely and popularly showcased to the world for people to see. 3. They just aren't doing Construction sets anymore because they either lost their license to make any building toys in general or just don't feel like making them anymore due to the fact that sales weren't in their favor, and it costed them more to make them then they were producing from them. 4. They ran out of ideas for new sets past wave 6. There is also evidence to go along with my theories: For the first one, I found out during an interview between puppet steve(youtuber) and a toy designer of the toys that they were going to quote "keep making these things until they run out of plastic", but he also said that Scott Cawthon himself helps with the design process by sending him a prototype build, having him review it, and him getting the final say in it design before release. However, Scott started receiving threats online, and he was harassed, and in June 2021 he retired from the FNAF community, so since then, maybe they just stopped making them because they were confused on what to do. For the second one, I think that because there hasn't been a NY Toyfair at the Javits Center since 2020, where they showcase the sets, they didn't want to release them in fear that they would not become widely popular, because after all, their toys have always been shown there, and the event kept getting cancelled due to COVID restrictions, so the postponement of the event just made mcfarlane give up on trying to release anything, and they didn't want to do it via website because maybe many people don't review the website. For the third one, maybe Mr. Springs is right that they simply lost their license and are waiting it renew it, but it's also the company's choice to renew it, and maybe mcfarlane willingly pulled the plug on construction sets because they didn't like the sales, but in my opinion, they were great toys, and it's not like mcfarlane to leave us without warning of what they plan to sell and not sell. For the last one, I think they simply don't know what to make for the series in terms of waves and new sets, but this sounds silly really to me because we just saw 2 new games of sets released, and they had yet to finish FNAF 3 and Sister Location at least, and during that same interview, the designer talked about them releasing a Minireena, Bonnet, and Jumpscare Animatronic figurines in later waves if they could. But you never know. I also never heard them talk about a wave 7. The guy just said they planned up to wave 6. And another reason could be mass production line issues. I've been hearing the past year that materials and products are becoming harder to get since most of our products come from China, and since getting our products from China has been getting harder as time goes on, maybe they actually have "run out of plastic" and can't make them anymore, but this would be a bit weird too, because they're still making action figures, which require plastic as well. I know that was a lot to read, but I wanted to put this out because this is what I think. If you read all the way to the end, a big thanks from me to you! Also, thanks to Mr. Springs for attempting to touch on this topic because it IS a serious thing to toy collectors of this franchise.

it'd be sad for mcfarlane to lose their license as i don't think any other lego-like company would make such good and detailed figures, but at the same time having them be made by a more widely availble company would be nice, it's basically impossible to find mcfarlane sets in some countries

As it is likely that McFarlane lost the FNaF license, I feel like there might be some hope in this dark situation. They might have a secret line, as you said, and the company doesn't want to spoil the game. Then again, I feel like "Construx" company would absolutely nail characters like Mangle or the phantoms. I hope the reason isn't because of the new management, or conflict with the companies. McFarlane might have found a new series that is more worthy of their time, but FNaF was their biggest hit I feel.

There are actual leaked minifigure Mario sets coming in the summer.If you want to se what lego can do with molded heads just look at the lego Simpson’s or looney tunes or muppets. All of those 5 dollar figures all have molded heads.

Hey Springs wanted to say this. Do you think Fnaf fans should make a Lego ideas set to at least get Lego to see if it sells good, and if it won't it could be a large set like the fnaf 1 Pizzeria. I think making the animatronics might be hard it also would probably need a ton of new pieces/cut outs.

OK, so for those of you who are still anticipating these sets I have some good and bad news. I've done some digging into of my own on why the sets haven't been releasing and there has been a secret update on this and the good news is that Mcfarlane has responded and the bad news is that it still is very vague on why they're not coming out at all. So I saw a reddit post of someone who emailed Mcfarlane on the update of the whole construction line in general, and they responded by saying the following on July 27th, 2022: "There are currently no plans to continue the construction set toy line." Yeah... so while this is bad, the good news is that it says CURRENTLY, so maybe, just maybe, there are hopes for new sets, just might be a long wait till then, so don't bother waiting around for news on them because it won't be anything new, and it's not just FNAF sets being affected, and isn't a licensing issue. I'm not kidding. You can look up "Mcfarlane toys construction line cancelled" in Google search, and it will be there somewhere. Hope that helps.

I've wrote some comments on this, not that I know if anyone's read them, but I've done some research and I believe that mcfarlane is just being lazy not wanting to release sets anymore. They didn't even put up any news up on the website announcing their discontinuation and they have all the time to do it. I mean, why keep fans' spirits up when they can speak out and tell us the truth? It's just wrong.

I don't think Lego should get the license for FNAF lego because while the sets will be big,they'll be rather expensive and the animatronic figures will probably be just the regular figure base with a molded head. I believe Mega Constructs should get the license because then the figures will have more joints and will be less expensive.

If Lego made fnaf sets it would probably be the buildings and the office. I hope they will make sets like this if Lego gets the license. Lego may be expensive but if lego sets would be better than getting a singular wall and a figure from mcfarlane.

Lego and fnaf is actually very realistic I mean they have a specifically have a lego squid piece that if it is in gunmetal grey then we have a molten Freddy lower body while for circus baby/scrap baby they could reuse the lego tutu piece and the ponytail hairpiece that was introduced during the Lego Batman movie for Harley Quinn

Do you think Mattel would end up making any five nights at freddys merch? If they did it could up really well considering some of the Jurassic world figures for an example and you could get whole sets of fnaf figures with a good amount of detail in them. And if lego did do fnaf merch they might just make say about five massive sets about 250-300 dollars or pounds or whatever. CONCEPTS! Show stage: 300 dollars- 270 pounds Includes 9 inch figures of freddy, bonnie and chica and of course the main show stage at about 20 inches. It will also be reminiscent of the McFarlane show stage. Pirates cove: 170 dollars-140 pounds 9 inch foxy action figure with the pirates cove at about 12 inches wide. Parts and service: 250 dollars- 220 pounds. 9 inch endo figure with parts and service at 18 inches long. It will also include the heads or masks of the main 3 animatronics. Mega construx could work in my opinion I love the halo mega line the amount articulation in the figures plus the amount of custom figures would work great for fnaf basically they're micro action figures parts can be swapped and plus I feel they can make great blind bags hopefully they get the license if not I hope mcfarlane renews the license honestly though

security breach would be a tough wave to make. most of the memorable parts of the map are big and i dont think anyone is going to want a set of "the part where you play a fnaf 1 style close the doors mini game while waiting for freddy to open a door for you"
