Part 1 of my new series, where I am doing NO MORE food shopping, and making my family meals only from what we already have in the fridge/freezer/cupboard. This is great for using up food you may have sitting around the house, budgeting your family expenses, no waste and much more! Join me in this series until I have cleared most of what we have already in the house. I will take 1 weekly shop (to Aldi) to pick up essentials such as fresh fruit and veg, milk, anything for my toddler. Also known as the "Pantry/Freezer Challenge!"
Loaded Healthy Flapjacks
250g Oats
125g Salted Butter
70g Soft Brown Sugar
2 TBSP Date Molasses (If you don’t have this, swap for honey/maple syrup/golden syrup)
3 Tbsp Honey
2 Tbsp mixed seeds (or pumpkin/sunflower/Flaxseed)
Optional: 1 Tbsp Raisins/nuts/whole nut butter
Combine all ingredients together (using hands is the most effective way!)
Put in a square tin, preferably in parchment paper and bake in preheated oven 180c for 10 mins
Remove, let cool completely, cut into squares and store in tub.

Why not cook chicken in airfryer

I would have preferred to, but then I wouldn't have the juices and flavour etc to mix the rice and peas in at the end! However I definitely think the chicken would cook better in the airfryer 👍🏼
