If Walt hadn't killed Mike, a few years later Mike would have had to confront Kaylee over someone like this "sidewise a$$hole" that Mike referred to ... and Kaylee would not have taken a "half measure." Kaylee would have been a ruthless killer if things had played out that way. I sincerely hope that series is made some day.

@@jxsh03 When he brings him to the laundry for instance and Walt sends Jesse to kill Gale, 'Your boss is going to need me', Mike believes him. Or when Walt killed Gus, he does need Walt to get the operation going again to get his daughter his money and keep the other men of the operation in check so they don't grass (Inform) on him. Arguably yeah he should've killed him multiple times, but he had reasons not to.

@@vinogr00nko93 that is because Walt stopped being a naïve yesman that just went along with everything Gus wanted. I think a big issue Mike had with Walt was resentment that Walt wasn't just going to be a yes man and posed a threat to his comfortable criminal life where he got to have pretenses of ethics. Gus was an evil man but well composed, Mike twisted composure and competence with ethics so he could rationalize being an evil man himself. Walt stripped that veil right off and revealed exactly what Gus was, and therefor revealed who Mike had become and I think he blamed the person that exposed the truth. Mike annoyed me at the end with how much he blamed Walt for Gus's and his own failures and for how much of a hypocrite he was. cool character; but totally overrated.
@SACosby-lp5td10 күн бұрын
@patrickthomas2119 i disagree. Walt was arrogant and egotistical and if he had just done his job they could have all gotten really rich. But he had to be the man. Mike didn't like walt because he knew what he really was. A brilliant chemist but he wasn't a leader , he was best when he worked for someone else. And when he didn't everything went to crap
@patrickthomas211910 күн бұрын
@ that is just incorrect. Gus obviously saw him as a liability and was looking to steal his recipe and replace him with Gil as soon as possible. And Walt didn’t do what he did at first to “be the man”. He saved Jesse’s life. I am not saying Walt was not egotistical but Gus was just as egotistical and after they had their disagreement about Jesse Walt knew Gus was going to kill him as soon as possible. So it simply became about survival.
