What is the G360 System?
G360 is a radical new polishing system from Farécla which removes the need for expensive P3000 abrasive discs, AND is super fast and super easy.
Why are bodyshops so enthusiastic about it?
The product cost savings from adopting the G360 System are significantly greater than the total cost of the G360 System itself, plus it offers process time savings.
Is that for real?? It sounds a bit far-fetched!
Yes, it does sound incredible. But sceptical bodyshops across the country are trying G360, and are surprised and delighted to discover that it absolutely is for real! - You tell us - order a kit today, and see for yourself!
Are there any other benefits?
Faster polishing times and no use of P3000 discs means reduced operative exposure to Hand Arm Vibration risk. HAV risk and muscle fatigue is further reduced by the fact that when using the G360 System the operative applies significantly less pressure to the surface than with other polishing systems.
Anything else?
Yes, less electricity cost per job, and less use of water as no P3000. Triallists are also reporting reduced numbers of reworks, so enhanced productivity and throughput.

Just Got This set last week. It’s insane how it cuts comparing to sonax cutmax, blue rupes, menzerna 300 etc!! Never tried something like this, even with the foam pad.. Saves me a whole lot of time when correcting trashed paint on old repainted cars

John this is the kind of reviews we want to hear about. im an ex spraypainter and i have experience with rotary polishers with wool pads . when your are doing paint correction on a whole car you need to do it reasonably quick then finish of the the second stage with a DA. Where do you think this prouduct fits in as a pro paint corrector? Farecla compounds have been around at least 34 years in body shop,Luv your vids bro and this is why you have the edge on other youtube reviewers !

thanks Clevo pros in the bodyshop scene will love it. some detailers might vid is a bit too agressive. although its a different animal on a DA. cheers mate this product is defo interesting that why I reviewed it.. the problem is over here in the UK doing a review like this generates 5000 views which = a fiver. so its like hard to do content which is going to do the views when I feature things like this.. theres no payed for promotion on the channel either.. bit of a balancing act you tube do I go full on cheese and start doing 5 things I hate about my cars or scaring a supermodel which go viral and the channel starts growing fast.. or do I do things like this that a few peeps are interested in but ultimately costs me money to produce.. given the choice its the later but its trying to find the right balance type thing.

This look really interesting as it's the compounding stage that takes the time. This would remove swirls with a pass or two so you could get around the car in no time then move onto the finish stage.
@ForensicDetailing
@ForensicDetailing 6 жыл бұрын
Yo chris, yer this will go through swirls pretty rapidily. I just I think the key thing is like, I wouldnt default to SFC101 for paint correction. obviously theres so many considerations with what you could be faced with in terms of scenarios, and in lots of scenarios where you have soft clear thats also maybe thin. even hard clear sometimes you might want less cut. So for guys at home and this includes me, just defaulting to SFC101 as your cutting compound of choice isnt always going to be a good idea. but the product is providing a capability that is gonna be really nice for people in the trade to have.

A very good description, as i said before the guy who demo'd it at work took out 800 DA scratches with this stuff in two sets of 2 passes..... i know exactly what you mean about the anti scratch clear being a pita to work once it's fully cured, it was the way it cut the Anti scratch clear that had me on the hook (that stuff is the bane of my existence). It has to be said though the Compound is not for the amateur!! we played with the stuff quite a bit with our measuring gear and found it's very aggressive on edges / sharp body lines, i imagine allot of damage can be done in the wrong hands. Be interesting to see what you think of the cut of the finishing compound on it's own? we found it had a fair cut so preferred using a proper glaze G3G101 with the 360 Cutting compound (we haven't experienced any holograms returning etc using it that way)
@ForensicDetailing
@ForensicDetailing 6 жыл бұрын
Ive used it a couple of times since shooting this. your right you have to be carefull with the cut level. if you go in hard and fast on a rotary with it you will chop more than you expect to chop. definetly leans towards being a professional tier product but I think people in the trade are gonna really like it. Im not sure about the finishing polish. Ive only used it to refine after cutting and it looked great. I guess most finishing polishes deliver on this. hard to sort of quantify how good it is. I would prolly need to get it on the test panels up against some others and see if the gloss meter can reveal anything in the finish level because its really impossible to tell with the old eyeballs. but the SFF101 is good, prolly didnt focus enough on that in the video because I was like still like shock of the speed of the cut.

Hi John, great vid yet again and can obviously see the excitement in your face and comments. Thinking this product (compound mainly) is a bit of a game changer for the pros but maybe a step to far for the enthusiast like me, but you also commented on the gel like lubricisaty of the compound once being worked. Maybe this is going to be something to appear in other manufacture compounds. What do you think results would be with foam pads and DA ?
@ForensicDetailing
@ForensicDetailing 6 жыл бұрын
honestly I think you shouldnt use this stuff at home on your own car to polish it if your kind of just getting in machine polishing for the first time. Its less about any problems with how it is to work the abrasives, its smooth easy to work. its just its giving more cut that you would want in all scenarios and the danger would be not realising this. Some like the G3 premium abrasive 1 stage would be a safer starting point. I dont flag this and just say everyone needs to have this abrasive there will be guys buying it and hitting it hard for multiple sets or going through edges with it. I think its a professional abrasive. the caviate though is Im keeping hold of this stuff because everynow and then it will be usefull :)

Tilting rides the radius which means you are using the fastest rotating portion of the pad as well as applying more pressure ,combined with a wool pad will of course give a far more aggressive cut .A true test would be to compare other high cut compounds on the pad system to see what is at the heart of the ability to cut ,is it the compound or is it the pad system ?

Jon. Three step. I use the wool and G360. Skip yellow mop. And BH double speed thereafter. Cannot understand the finishing idea. I think you still must wax after the super fast finish. That’s 4 steps no?? Cheers
@ForensicDetailing
@ForensicDetailing Жыл бұрын
mate you need to finish down with wool and G360. The problem is your packing the paint out with polishing oil which makes the paint look good and feel good and hides the compound marring. Then you wax on top and again it looks fine. But degrease your paint down and compare your compounded wool cut section with proper finished out paint and trust me theres a bit difference. Or at least theres a difference. In the industry or the car trade you can get away with not finishing out cars. 99.9999999% of people cant tell the difference and even the 0.00009 could only tell in the right light.

This product may be the substitute for 2 last pases of wet sanding. 3000_4000 maybe 2000? Will be funtional on DA rupes machines? I think if could find farécla distributor in spain, perhaps try to cut some whool minipads for rupes nano, to light spot sanding intermediate scratches, or 1k_2k hand wet sanding marks (nano has rotary item, but DA gives less holograms haze)? How does the cutting of Farecla G360 vs Sonax Fast Cut compare? I read in a comment here that G360 also had removed 800 grit sanding scratches, while the product characteristics indicate that it can be used from 1500 grit and the Sonax from 1000 grit. So it's not so much about the gloss but about the cutting, which of the 2 products has a better cutting and which is more pleasant to process? Thx.

Ive never side by sided them but 360 has a really nice buttery smooth feel to it over the sonax. The profiline range is a good quality abrasive though. Really you can get results from whatever you want to use. Farecla is one of few though that offer real value. your talking 45 quid for a litre of a profiline abrasives in the UK versus about 25 for the farecla. so price should be the main reason to pick one of the other.

hi john. nice video. how much is the backing plate?
@ForensicDetailing
@ForensicDetailing 6 жыл бұрын
I was just googling around can see someone selling it on amazon for 20 quid (dont know if thats a good price but I would have expected it perhaps to be a bit less?) I think its the G mop flexible 6 inch plate. I talked about these more in the G3 premium video. If your using the rotary with tilt a lot of the time that are superb. the pay off is the rubber flexible plate doesnt press the pad flat as well as a rigid plate with foam backing.. especially (or more so) around the outer edge of the rubber plate, so you sort of loose a bit of the out edge footprint of the pad on the panel when using them flat. but you can kind of compensate for this with presure. you see in this video when Im using the finish pad flat Im pressing just a bit.. kind of my only note. One thing I cant say about this plate is how long it will last, can you hammer it, will the rubber wear out faster than a high quality rigid plate. I would guess yes, but the g mop plates and pads are pretty cool, again its something different or an option worth checking out.

yo, no on the wool. about 110 working it on wool like that no hollogramming though. It has to be possible but the flex plate spreads the tilt load better than a rigid plate which creates less pressure (but you are still getting a pressure increase over using the pad flat). gets a bit hoter with foam. I actually used it with yellow foam the other day and found about 1200 for the first half of the set worked fine. with rapid cut will come more heat but it seems to contain it well, if you use the specific instructions on the kit.
