Laugh = Neko Mane King, so if during MBT's turn they activate effects that cause a laugh, after that chain he moves to his end phase.

Eh, I kinda like the whole "if you make me laugh, you win" because alot of decks are based off jokes, and if he doesn't laugh, they just lose. I feel like no one will aim to make him laugh if all it does is skip a turn. And we won't see as creative decks as we do now if he implemented that

I made a video talking about VS at length and in it I joked about this list. What I didn't show off was how good Uni is for VS. I could have Small World'ed for Uni, but reflex kicked in and I grabbed Razen. A Shari and Uni in hand makes Dempsey to get Razen without using your normal and gets another Shari. Functionally recouping the 2 fires you used in hand. Making it so Jiaolong's search is live. This makes it so you can get 2 searches on your opponent's turn for the missing attributes for Snow Devil. Since I didn't want to fire 50 redos, I settled to showcase the logistical issue with the deck. Opening Shari and Uni is cope. The other neat thing about VS Suship that I got to showcase is that Pantera is a Small World bridge into anything. The fact the Suships also draw feeds into getting attributes, but of course on a gamble. If VS had a search spell there wouldn't be that big an issue bringing in other archetypes. And if Suship just had a NORMAL search spell, VS not having one wouldn't be an issue. Someone mentioned the Suship search spell but it is abysmal. It can't search Shari, the pivotal card in the deck. It requires you have Shari in hand to even use it. So if you draw it and no Shari, it's dead. This is especially bad when you aren't playing Suship pure. Worst of all, you don't pick what you search. You recommend what to order, but your opponent still chooses any name. The trap card is a better search spell, but it's a trap card. I only played the trap because it gets a fire reveal to hand and helps you refuel your ships for a crackback OTK. But of course, Suship's way of searching spell/traps is by making a rank 4 using a specific name. If you could consistently search out the names you need the deck would be clean. As is, it's just neat but inconsistent. I was shocked to actually summon Dreadnought Uni. Dreadnought Uni is such a stupid card. Negate during YOUR main phase or your OPPONENT'S battle phase. The neat thing about Uni's negate is that it's faceup cards not just monsters. So I decided to make it when I realized I could hit Fountain with it. I gave up Caesar's attack because I forgot how Suship XYZ interact with negation. If they get hit with a negate on summon, they just don't get the effects. Isn't that cool? Thought of attacking directly with it then Borger'ing for game, but Dreadnought got negated. So the applied effects never applied. Should have waited to use the negate, so they would have been applied. The deck runs UDF, but as you saw I didn't summon it. UDF isn't really an endgoal so much as it is a by product of opening a god hand of: Shari, Shari Red, and Uni. Nash Knight is a nice piece of removal you can make instead if you already have Razen and no way to a UDF line. Also funny that you CAN make Nash Knight with Jiaolong and Uni, but that will never happen as you want Jialong to stay on field. I love these 2 stupid archetypes and it's frustrating and hilarious how close they are to having synergy. I could have played VS Labrynth which is probably leagues better, but this dumb deck is what I've been stuck on. It's my baby even if it's ass. Also I wasn't sold on the synergies of Lab. It feels similar to Snake Eyes VS to me. Where you're playing a good deck and sometimes you get to play VS as a treat. Overall, I had a lot of fun playing VS while actually managing to summon the Suships even if they didn't get to do a whole lot. If the crowd wasn't dueltained, I was. So get owned.

I feel like decks that can really do some cool stuff that i have personally played are like. Tellarknight(almost infinite possibilities in xyz plays), Frightfur(can do cold fusion and has neat interactions with multiple), Fire fist tribrigade(can put up 8 disruptions off fraktall plus fire formation tensu or tenki/tri beast type or rescue cat plus tenki or tensu).

To be honest, as much as I'm still enjoying the series, a few recent changes have felt a bit like you're overcorrecting for problems that aren't that big of a deal (if they even existed in the first place). First there was the banning of common engines and cards to make decks more unique in their setup, which kind of missed the point that the draw for most decks in this series is the punchline, not the setup. Meanwhile, for this episode, you seemed to focus so hard on the "duel" part of the series that you kind of forgot about the "taining" part - as quite a few people here have pointed out, this felt more like a series of off-meta duels rather than a Dueltaining episode. Again, this series is still enjoyable (and even this episode could work well as its own separate thing), but I think it's worth considering for future episodes if it's actually broken before trying to fix it.

Yeah.....I think that's my main issue so far with the bannings I get the point of the videos are "win by normal means or make me laugh" But I always liked the jokes, especially when he realizes the joke and laughs. I get that seeing the same 10 cards every duel, and every week can get tiring, but the whole point of those cards is more "here's my joke" and hope he laughs than trying to win. I feel like it's just going to turn into a normal dueling series at some point, with no one making jokes and that's kind of sad to me

were not the people who have to watch the same 30 minute wakaushi setup 5 times a week so i dont think we really get to comment on whether it keeps happening or not lol. you frame this as "dont fix whats not broken" but i dont even think thats the problem. if this series becomes undueltaining for mbt, then it stops existing. in that sense i think it is very appropriate for him to say "hey, no wakaushi for a week cuz im tired of it" or "hey, lets try something different for one time" because ultimately he is the creative force behind the endeavor and were just the people who watch it.
