I'm so confused, I just got one of these things but I can't hook it up to my PC at all, I even made sure to fully charge it first before trying. I was really excited when I got this controller but am super disappointed that I can't even use it, not even in wired mode...

I haven’t had any issues. I suggest making sure the controller is in Bluetooth mode and then connect it to your pc.
