@@scottcerato4473 I am using it for Xbox. Only Gamesir has made it so far above the 250Hz on Xbox. Vitrix says that they can go 500Hz but I didn't feel really that way with mine. Also R1 got broken in a couple of months and I didn't feel like getting one again. So far G7 SE feels great for a 39€ controller. It is insane, way better than all the premium controllers that I have tried.

Your previous guides really helped me, glad to see you're keeping updated! I really do notice the input lag improvement, on stuff like gyro aiming it's immediately noticeable, and I only do 500hz oc instead of 1000.

Thank you for the video. How do I conduct D/Switch input latency test specifically on GamepadLA? The default is still Xinput correct? And can input latency be calculated on controllers that do not utilize joysticks? I.e. NSO SNES or NSO Genesis Controllers?

Yeah well something is up with controllers. Stops mid shooting a lot when on someone but not otherwise. Lag have not seen much. Game lag in general yes bad.

on one of your previous videos i think you mentioned that new scufs have better input delay at 4ms instead if thr 8-16 thats on older models. is this the case and if so is the delay comparable to othrr controllors?

IIRC, it comes set to 250hz by default. But once you hook it up to a PC, you’ll be able to change that setting. With that said, I honestly don’t know if that 1k hz will carry over once you plug it in to a console. It should, IMO. For PC, the software *doesn’t* need to be opened/in the background, for those settings to stay enabled. So it _could_ very well carry over. I just don’t know for sure, as I don’t have an Xbox.

Just bought the g7se the thumbsticks are amazing but the current app version does not have the 1000hz polling rate option , do you know if they are going to add it back in the future

Yeah the gamesir thumbsticks are seriously my favorite so far. No losing my grip while also managing long term comfort (no edges to dig in)

Why does xinput test shows different results a lot? Ive legit had my dualsense show me a whopping 4k polling rate wired but ive never seen it again after no matter how much times i repeated the test. also i noticed it happened while i was playing dying light 2 so i was in the game as i measured. Maybe its connected

I have no idea what to make of this, other than RIP I guess. Is there any way to know for sure if overclocking your controller transfers to your console? For instance my G7SE is overclocked to 1000Hz on PC but it doesn’t feel any different on my Series X. It also gives an error message to revert back to 250 on the console.

Hey Gamer Heaven, I have a question! I purchased an Elite Series 2 controller with Scuf paddles back in July of last year. The controller works great and has none of the common quality issues that people experience with Elite controllers. However, I did not realize that Xbox controllers had such high input latency before purchasing. I am a competitive FPS player (Apex, COD ranked, etc.). Do you think that the Elite 2's input latency is noticeable and actually has an impact on in-game performance? I'm considering selling my Elite 2 and going for the Scuf Envision Pro. Only concern is no-one has jumped on my listing for the controller yet :(

I have a elite 2 and I’m sensitive to input lag. I play on a 1000 dollar monitor with 120 hz and I can tell the difference between the controller being plugged in and wireless. It’s faster plugged in. I play Apex and just use the two back paddles so I can crotch spam but the input lag on the back buttons is very noticeable sadly. I’m looking into the G7Se it’s only 40 bucks.

Your Xbox polls the controller at 250 Hz, which is why most "pro" controller brands go with 250. Anything higher is pointless on Xbox.

do you really notice a difference between a victrix bfg at 8ms and an eswap at 2ms, or stealth ultra at 4ms and dualsense at 1 ms? what controllers felt the worse?

In games like fighting, racing, shooting hell yeah you can tell if you go back and fourth between all those controllers back to back

2ms (500hz) and 1ms(1000hz) are pretty much indistinguishable, 4ms is fine too, but 8 ms does feel slower

Hi great video. I’ve seen some research of people saying your controller polling rate must be double your refresh rate. 120fps = 250hz or 240fps = 500hz. Is this true? They say going any lower or even higher could cause input lag. I play at 240fps consistently, should I lower my polling rate to 500hz or stick to 1000hz?

Their nut jobs. The higher your polling rate the better (up to 1000Hz) current game engines usually freak out above 1000Hz, but support will come eventually. Vallorant is the only game I know FOR SURE to support above 1000Hz.
