In my metropolitan area (Washington DC), 75 percent of black men will go to prison. As a female, if I have a 75 percent chance of dating a criminal and endangering myself, should I not be allowed to use a race filter? Do I need to sacrifice my personal safety just so they can get a date? When i dont a use filter and swipe left on black men, the algorithm realizes and shows me far fewer, arent i lowering my risk of putting myself in harm's way? Seriously, 75 percent chance is huge and that is just for crimes that result in jail time. For context, the city is 41 percent black. 6 percent of DC white men will go to prison.
