Peter is exceptionally humble. He genuinely felt he didn’t deserve the glasses. Then Mysterio shows up and acts the part so well. On top of that Peter feels overburdened with his duties and part of him still just wants to be a kid. It was the perfect storm of circumstances that led to Peter handing over EDITH.

You know, one shot that gets overlooked is Mysterio with the glasses on doing his best Tony Stark impression. The way he levels his gaze is an RDJ thing, and that was the familiar feeling that Peter needed to hand over EDITH.

The whole thing with Mysterio is being a master illusionist. The comic version is usually a former stuntman/effect artist using special projectors and hallucination gas. The MCU adapted him really well as a hologram expert who incorporated his tech with drones.

@@Scyphi Yes, we got Spider-Man. I hated GOTG 3, and I couldn't finish Shang-Chi. Loki I forced myself to watch season 1 because I heard it was relevant to Deadpool 3. WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Soldier, and Hawkeye are all just ok, I actually think Hawkeye is the best of them. I haven't watched Moon Knight because I got tired of everything bad to subpar thing Marvel was putting out.

Stef, as others have said this is the Epilogue to the Infinity war Saga. After this, there will be ups and downs.. but some of the ups are amazing and I know with your empathetic view on things, you will appreciate them. You will likely not like everything, and no one would blame you, but continue to be yourself and I think you will get more satisfaction out of the next phase than many of us did in the moment. Often, some of the movies I didn’t like the first time around, I find that I like them more upon a second viewing. What I noticed with your channel is, you tend to notice the nuances that I miss on my first watching on YOUR first watching and I think that’s great and will carry you through the next phase with much more appreciation. Have fun, take your time if you need to, and know that there is plenty to look forward to!

Then from Dec 2021 is Spiderman No Way Home. Of course, Wandavision and Loki are next chronologically as the D+ series start in Phase 4. Good watch 👍

This movie is truly shows Spider-Man's power scaling compared to other heroes in the MCU. The stark industry defense drones are more advanced than the Ultron bots in the avengers age of Ultron film we took all the original avengers with the help of the maximoff twins and the vision to defeat. Spider-Man defeated this drone army alone. If you didn't notice the Spider-Man suit Peter designs with the Stark fabricator was not as advanced as the previous Spider-Man suit due to him not needing all that tech like iron Man. Tony gave Peter his advanced spider suit to help them when in fact Tony stunted Peter's growth into Spider-Man.

The next Spider-man movie starts up right where this one leaves off. Peter was a high school student in the original comics. Tom Holland is the only Peter who is really in High school. The other actors were older and got out of high school early on.

To be fair to Peter, at least some, if not most, of Fury appearances had been scripted projections. I'm not sure if there are any tells, but he does sound pretty harsh in some scenes for little to no reason, particularly about Peter not living up to Tony's expectations. It's as if he's trying to convince Peter to give up the glasses. That's likely a big part of the reason Peter gave them to Beck so quickly-effectively the boss of the Avengers kept telling him he didn't deserve them, and seemed to trust Beck pretty deeply. Side note: Happy's a funny guy. Tony rarely second-guessed anything he did, and at the end of Homecoming, Happy told Tony "told ya he's a good kid," like even Tony needed to be convinced, and it's actually Happy that had been the only believer after all. Even *his* inspirational speech had been a lie. XD

Spider-Man is one of the physically strongest characters in marvel with enhanced speed and reflexes. Even his reaction time speed is on par to dodge lightning. Spider-Man skin is as durable as police kevlar with a healing Factor that could heal near fatal wounds within a day. Spider-Man spider Sense just doesn't want him of incoming danger it gives him a omnipresent view of everything around him with some cases of spider Sense sensing danger weeks in advance.

And he tries to be a normal teenager, and go on his summer trip. And Jake Gyllenhaal did a great job as Mysterio. The scene with Peter and Happy on the plane talking about missing Tony is one of my favorite scenes in this movie. Fun Fact: The two Skrulls that were impersonating Nick Fury and Maria Hill were Talos and his wife Soren. The two Skrulls that Fury and Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel befriended in the "Captain Marvel" movie. Up Next: The beginning of Phase 4 with the show "WandaVision". This is the last movie in the Infinity Saga (Phase 1 through 3) At this point Do not forget to do the Marvel TV shows going forward and the FOX and older spiderman movies and even the old fantastic 4 movies before you go forward into phase 4. You may want to watch the old Blade movie with Wesley Snypes, and the Daredevil Marvel show because that also plays a role in Phase 4/5 There is a reason (Phase 4-6 ) is called the Multiverse saga

Each MCU Spider-Man movie has at least six references to different Spider-Man villains. The first movie had vulture two shockers the tinkerer who built the vulture suit. Mac gargan AKA scorpion the guy who was thrown off the ferry then the prowler or Miles Morales uncle. In this movie there's Mysterio with each elemental representing a different Spider-Man villain. The first elemental was obviously sandman with the second being hydro man who Peter's classmates even tell his origins from Wikipedia. The fire element AKA molting man who in the comic book is Liz Allen's brother or in the MCU Liz Toomes the love interest from the homecoming film. Finally with agent Dimitri being a reference to a villain the chameleon true identity.

stef, they used holograms, or 'illusions' in this movie, i wanted hollywood to make a good Jem movie, they put out a crappy one, i like the 1980s cartoon much better, she is a woman who finds an ai in her basement that her father built and the ai is named Synergy and she can use holograms to project herself into reality via little transmitters ,and she gives Jem the transmitters so she can cast illusions also, and she uses them to transform her friends and herself into rockstars, even though they could just use hair and makeup, but she uses it to slightly alter her face, so no one recognizes her when she takes the stage as the famous music star, Jem, not the lowly jerricha jones
