No More Van Life Till After CHRISTMAS | VAN LIFE UK

After leaving the hospital following a surgery I had. I just wanted to upload a quick update on how the recovery was going, and to thank everyone for the positive messages they sent in on my previous video.

Thanks for that Alex, at least we know that it turned out well and that you will be able to enjoy Xmas without the struggle of moving around. Hello mate. Glad to see you're ok.from a vanlifer who's healing a badly broken leg my advice would be, take your time (I know it's hard as I was a full time traveling photographer).. Take help from those close to you and enjoy it, make the most of it.. And I'm sure it's given you so much thinking time.valife ain't going anywhere, get back into it only when you are more than fit enough, body won't thank you if you do 🙏

Looks like we are in the same boat (or van) at the moment, I'm trying my best to be patient with it. But it is proving difficult, but that's all we can do, sit and wait to heal. All the best bro 👍

@@Nomadickangoo I know what you mean, I didn't help myself by trying to get out too early, set me back a long time. I'm still looking at 8 months to 2 years for full recovery. Take it in your stride, don't rush to get somewhere that can wait a while.. In meantime, if there's any help you need then please ask. Between the two of us we might do a proper job 😂😂😂🙏

Good you're on the mend, keep doing what you are told! Follow instructions and don't do too much or too little. You'll be back in the improved Kangoo soon enough 👍 After my surgeries I was told I needed a year to rehabilitate and that I couldn't go back to same job! After 6 months I couldn't stick it and went back to same job. 🙄 Ended up two weeks later back in hospital.

OH so Not a "Starfish" operation then, Didn't see that coming! Hope you get sorted, anything when a knife is used on your stomach takes an age to recover from. Make the most of that hot running water while you can though. As for insulating you'll never regret spending the time or ££ as it'll help with Heat, Cold & Sound!
