I got two of these in two different colors - one to carry personal emergency items: pocket knife, bandages, emergency blanket and so on - and one for bike emergency items: chain quicklink, TPU inner tube, patches, multitool, USB C cable with all adapters, a small chain wax bottle and more Also from Rockbros I bought a card-sized zipped wallet that holds keys, cards and bank notes. Really nice to know where to look for things on multi-day rides.

A foil blanket helped an old lady who slipped on ice and hit her head one day. Always be prepared. Within reason!

@@2RadGood yup! also in there are: a lighter, earplugs, a headlamp, imodium, paracetamol, water disinfecting tablets (to make drinking water), pocket Wilderness Wash sheets, and dextrose tablets.

I love bags but they do add weight. Zip locks are the right tool sometimes. Also waterproof.
