@heathflagtvedt5769
@heathflagtvedt5769 Жыл бұрын
Thats true, but I think Pat was just saying that his point wasn't biased. Bev is competitive, but fair, too, I think. His point later wasn't to "bench" Chris Paul, but rather Monte Williams needed to adjust when the Mavericks were attacking Chris every play and wearing him down. Of course he wants to be out there, but the Mavs goal was to force Phoenix to show they could win a segment without him, and they couldn't. They were CP dependent. Mavs attacked him and showed how, without him, Phoenix wasn't much. In a weird way, I think the Mavs exposed that CP has been elevating an average team rather than making CP3 look bad. Luka looked bad for a stretch but his team picked him up and held serve. CP got attacked and Phoenix folded. That's the real story. Any player can be gotten to.

Lukas post game is criminally underrated. His post counters, pump fakes, fade aways, body control is more technically sound than most 90’s big men. I don’t see him ever getting flustered, he has a mastery of the game that relies less on athleticism and more on IQ, which is even more remarkable considering his age. Luka plays like a hybrid of magic Johnson and Larry bird. His IQ is more on the offensive end though, but I still believe he is a team defender. The times he’s getting burned he’s clearly carrying the offense, so I can’t blame him fully.

JJ nailed it! Those mid range 2s are a lot easier to take away in the playoffs. Shrinks the floor and makes it easier to guard. Suns need a couple 3 point snipers out there with book and cp3. Not Jae and others who are streaky at best

CP3 is 6ft at 37 yrs of age I believe, he plays to many mins in the reg season, then he loses his legs going deep into the playoffs. But like The Bron, he is hard headed determined to do to much during the Reg season, while taking such a large chunk of the squads cap.

If there's a lesson we need to take away from this post season it's that these players need to humble themselves. Giannis stares Horford down...gets the business. Curry talks about whooping that trick...gets the business. Booker talking sh!t about the Luka special...gets the business with extra special sauce.

At the end of the day, a star is gonna get theirs. It's usually the supporting cast that makes or breaks a team. If Brunson doesn't go off like he did and Luka does all the heavy lifting, then Dallas loses the series.

I have to say I am tired of watching teams just throw up 3's and shoot free-throws ... CP is a great player- for 37, the issue was the rest of his team, primarily Booker- that dude did not show up at all for this game. Hoping for a Boston Dallas final.

I think wherever CP goes, that team automatically relies on his overall performance. If he's in rock bottom, nobody steps up. Book and Ayton needs to be less reliant on CP3's setups and just go hog the ball and create their own shots to affect the momentum of the game; that's what they severely lacked in this series.
