That pesky "Nursery Tile" that is sitting with the skulls at the bottom layer.....that's for the game Venice. It just happens to be in the same packet with Stellar Nursery :) Great video...packing that away made my head hurt as much as yours lol.

I also spent about 3 hours just opening and organizing the box. That many components... You can only imagine what gameplay will be like. This will be the most complex game in my collection. Looking forward to learning, teaching and playing this game.

Ohhh man! Do i have the video for you! i just… haven’t made it yet. It’ll be the upcoming Bits, Please! episode featuring Scythe. But take my advice to heart: anything you do to your models makes them look tons better, and just in case it doesn’t, it’s completely reversible! You’re in a no-fail situation. i’ve gone from “too afraid to paint” to “painting for hours every evening”!

Isn't iconography usually handled by the graphic designer, not the artist?

In other industries, illustrators and graphic designers (even product/service designers at times) are totally separate specializations. While both Ian’s illustrations and graphic design are fantastic, it’s his graphic design that is unmatched. The iconography in this game makes a lot of sense when you start playing. It’s consistent and clear enough to be a memorable language for this complex game.
