In germany a case made headlines where police simply asked and received all the information although it wasn't for their purview about people who went to a restaurant and started investigating them all regarding some theft of a nearby location. No warrants, no nothing. Simply "hey give us" and the medical authority holding the "green passport" didn't blink and say "classified". Nope, simply handed over all information they had.
