Spars shouldn’t go all out 100% all the time. Slow and just flow sparring is very useful. Just focusing on technique and hand positioning. As well as your footwork.

Light sparring is great but it creates bad habits. Hard sparring is better but it's too egoistical more often than not and the guy doing the beating gains more from it. Sparring is meant to have a middle ground where two guys care for each other so much they don't go too light but they don't try to knock each other out either. You HAVE to turn it up but not go for the finish. I believe in a 70-80 percent sparring where it's almost a fight but instead of going for the finish you help your partner. That's where both guys benefit the most.
