What would be the weakness of doing early adept harass, but instead of going glaves, rather going into charge and then doing a chargelot push? This is not something that I have seen before and I can't think of a reason why. Zealots trade rather well against roaches, and I would not go into banelings as zerg when seeing the early adept harass, since I wouldn't know if it could end up being glaves. Edit: or is this actually a build and I was just fast asleep the whole time?

You shouldn't have gg'ed so quickly against the game with Serral you were up alot of workers - I think you had an honest chance

lol.. he did not have a chance. Serral was increasing army, Harstem was reducing. The extra workers weren't going to change that. As soon as that warp in stops, Serral counters and it's game. But the theoretical win is still valid 😂 Theoretical wins are nearly as good as real ones and in some cases even better.. gives the player a story to tell friends who don't know.

If the Adept gets a late game upgrade does that mean the Reaper gets one as well?

I think there is room for both to get a nice upgrade that allows them to be used to snipe buildings and static defences, like a +10 damage vs structures or even higher upgrade. That way they do not take over the game or get used as part of main armies but would be of more use. It would need to be either a very expensive upgrade or from the very top of the tech tree tho because such an upgrade could ruin the early or mid game. I assume thats why it hasn't been implimented.

That last game was an amazing watch . That game is the reason ive played star craft since 98 .Sniping the overseers so dts can do damage and the hopes of a base trade wow...just wow. The types of playstyles/players/matches you see are so effing unique and always fun to watch . there is truly no other competitive game out there like star craft. Thanks for the support in the sc community all these years kevin you are a content machine, my hats off to ya. looks like adepts are back on the menu . GLHF

Lategame upgrade for Adepts: 200/200 120sec Twilight upgrade; Psyonic Reverberation makes the glaived adept attack ricochet between units three times dealing +5 to the attack each time it bounces. So the first hit isn't front-loaded damage but the third and final hit is big damage. Gives the adept counter play for Terran bio balls, mass zealot/stalker, and swarmy zerg compositions but leaves Mech, Roboplay, and Lurker play pretty much completely untouched as adepts are too flimsy to ever get multiple attacks against these compositions. Also makes lategame adept runbys scary enough to demand scouting and supply reserved to respond to the threat but is more flexible and less committed to simply throwing the units away compared to chargelot runby. I don't want to hear any balance complaints from zerg or terran. Zergs have gotten away with murder for having queens be ridiculously overpowered and marines remain the single most efficient tier one unit in the game, bar none. Besides, the other two races can laugh at PvP turning into a chaotic nightmare with adept runbys and weird all ins, just like it always is.
