You can see the difference so clearly. When you give a plant water it grows confidently and proud. (Hence why the older son is good at many thing and is confident) but when you ignore the plant and just leave it in the sun, it grows dry and no matter what true to grow the best way it can. Actually, he wasnt talented just because he was more cared for. He was just born more active and has a higher IQ. I do agree that she would have been a little bit better if she was just as cared for. But, your philosophy doesn't apply on majority of children. Some kids, even if they lacked love, it made them kore determinded to study and practice and succeed, and those who were very loved were not as talented because they became lazy. Its not mostly the care but the OPPORTUNITY. I think it should be a BALANCE, if you give just enough care and ignorance it gives equal opportunity to both children. They will still be different, but at least they received the same opportunity to prove themselves. The son would still probably be more talented, but that does not matter. Point is, love does not completely affect talent and skills, its within the child, but the opportunity is from the parents if they give it fairly enough, but most power will come from the willpower of the children.

This is honestly just a classic case of misogyny. The mother wanting to marry her own son in her next life is literally proving Freud's theory of the Oedipus Complex. In this case, it's commonly found with boy moms, who would never hold their son accountable and would never make their son even lift a finger, but the daughter does all the chores at home or else they get nag. But this mother in particular not only has the Oedipus Complex and the usual boy mom mindset, she also has a superiority complex because her son is handsome, so she thinks she's better than everyone because she gave birth to him and he's the textbook definition of a perfect man.
