It’s close but i don’t think Hikaru is 2nd. Magnus is definitely number 1 but 2nd place is honestly depending on the day. Wesley, Nepo,, these2 especially Nepo give Hikaru a good run for 2nd place.

At 5:03, when hikaru plays king g3. Isnt that a blunder of the Knight? Black goes king g6 attacking the Knight. White cant move the Knight to a good square but can go king g4 to defend the Knight. But then black plays bishop c8 check to kick the white king out. And then king takes queen.

I was at the grocery today and they were playing Linus and Lucy which my friend Kevin Leung from high school taught me how to play on the piano. Exactly when it ended I arrived to an aisle with a Snoopy stuffed animal. Not only that, I had a mishap on my scooter on the way home which turned out being both confusing and fortuitous and I can verily say Hikaru Nakamura is an emanation of the tao like I am as well. There is a hidden grandmaster in Tacoma, WA who may be a teensy bit better than both Hikaru and Magnus -- he is a kid. I can't tell you his name, but he's going to come out of hiding soon. He was trained by Alexei Shirov and I played him in a tournament in Portland and he absolutely wrecked me... Watch out for this kid, he's Cambodian and he likes tigers.

I always feel I should be able to reach 2000 but it never changes. I don't feel I want to study it that much and analyse every move like 20 moves in advance. That must require thousands of possibilities. If I were playing for a living I guess it would be required, but otherwise I don't see how it can be done without an exceptional memory capability.

You are absolutely misinformed regarding Argentina's behavior. The Dutch bullied them all throughout the match and tried to intimidate them one by one as they were going to kick the penalties. I don't blame you for not knowing that and, I can only imagine, much more, because I read newspapers from all around the world and most of them don't talk about what actually happened. Look at the game between Argentina and Croatia. Everyone hugged everyone, Argentinians comforting the Croatians, the Argentinian crowd applauding Luca Modric, their coach and Messi paying respect to each other. If you show respect you get respect. The Netherlands deserved way worse than a simple childish mocking gesture after all their violence.
