The real question is "If KZbinrs and bloggers can record covertly in public places and not draw attention from security guards then why do they not?" I think it is largely because they seek the unreasonable reactions of security guards, because that gets views. Fair enough if that is what they are doing and they are open with us that they are doing it, but they should spare us any false indignation when they get exactly what they were trying to instigate". That does not exonerate the security guards either, it just apportions the blame more accurately.

@@geodun Exactly mate👍 Then they let themselves get assaulted and do nothing about it, just take the abuse and cry when the police won’t do nothing about it cos they know they can’t. Cos it won’t just be a case of ‘he hit u so u hit him’. No it’s cos u put yourself in that situation in the first place so deserve the slap 🤷‍♂️. Having the right to do something doesn’t make it logical or right to hassle someone. Yes security could rein it in a little, but they didn’t get the job cos of a university degree did they ? 🤦🏻‍♂️

I actually managed to walk through my local shopping centre (about 80 miles east of you) openly recording with a phone/gimbal, bwv on my chest and a DSLR slung round my neck. This was the first time I managed it without the goons descending on me like they usually do. I call that a "win" for PINAC.
