@imjustadog18974 жыл бұрын
@Roger Allison No one was in danger here. You can't just say that people who get hit by cars are victims of speeders. There are a few factors that play into vehicular accidents and tragedies. Let's just agree that the guy was going a tad bit fast and the cop should have been in the bus lane.
@imjustadog18974 жыл бұрын
@Roger Allison I never said anyone did anything wrong. I said that the officer did not know the law on driving in the bus lane. Neither of us were there, but the very first thing you said was that the driver was a lying, barrack-room, lawyer and that he was wasting taxpayer's money. What exactly did he lie about if you don't know what happened? I always watch these types of videos to assess both perspectives of police related interactions. I have no bias.

It's a seriously over inflated and shamefully un-disciplined ego, along with a insidiously aggressive superiority complex, which sadly ALL todays police are suffering from. The complete inability to concede a single point, admit when one is wrong or acknowledge ones mistakes and apologise are all psychological deficiencies and flawed personality traits for any regular person to have and openly display, let alone a so called "professional" position of employment like that of a police officer. There NEEDS to be a new independent official public regulatory and discipline body/group, created to hold police standards, behavior, finances and general direction to account.. One ran solely by members of the public, not anyone else.. WE are the ones paying for it all, WE are their employers and any officer that, truly believes otherwise, should immediately be removed from employment, to go and find a more suitable line of work.

@@Mick-gp6vi "Learned a new word and was desperate to be able to use it." Why do people say that about words with more than about 4 syllables? Is it that their own vocabulary is somewhat lacking, so, maybe feeling a bit insecure, they like to have a pop at what they perceive as weaker targets? It pisses me off when I use words that I learnt decades ago and some berk comes out with that. Now, to be fair, sometimes it will be true, but it's the speed with which people are so ready to be abusive that annoys me. Clearly, in this case, it isn't true, as if someone _has_ just learnt a new word properly, then they're going to spell it properly. If they are using it from memory, or just heard someone use it, then they're more likely to make a spelling mistake. I learnt the term "Pyrrhic Victory" as a teenager, but do you think I can remember how to spell "Pyrrhic" every time I use it? Buggery can I? Here I had to click on it when it was underlined in red.
