Icejade, hmm, tbh I still don't know what Scareclaws do, but this takes the cake. Being in Plat and throwing your obscure deck at the opponent can seal the deal. This could even play into ladder top decks being so varied, even if top cuts are less varied. I just don't push them that far. Props to the people who do.

It's hilarious that Icejade is the only archetype outside of Slime that can go into Egyptian God Slime, and Ice Barrier is actually a good card. I've been using it for Paleo-Frog Control in the Anti-Spell Festival. Sending Des Frog and recycling Swap Frog has been fun, and you can send Ice Barrier to GY off of Mirrella or stall in the Battle Phase (not great, but at least it still does something on field and triggers Paleos in GY).

Still waiting for their missing floodgate card. It came out this year in May so we're probably getting a new solo story for icejades with the Icejade Curse(they did this before with Dream Mirrors because dream mirrors were missing the second Neiroy which came out in february)

I’ve a synchro variant going on with deep sea diva since I have access to synchro plays through her such as chengying while making him immune to targeting by monster effects because of prima donna too who can also straight up summon aegirine from the deck to get them going between icejades in grave, sea nettle, guitar and even ice barrier in grave going off ive multiple ways to trigger chengying banishing effect even without him trying to protect himself Throw in the mermail link monster, spider shark with aegirine herself and ive got multiple ways to bring him back even if he’s been dealt with too or lean back to icejade’s natural defensive prowess

I did run Pot of Extrav in this deck, but I did not like banishing my Marincess for a couple more cards. Removable cards in Main deck are the Barrier Statue and Icejade Erosion. It is not that they are terrible, but you will hardly ever see them, so won't miss them. The best card in the deck is Icejade Aegirine. The opponent will not expect much from it, but it does so much for the deck. Icejade Kosmochlor is great aswell, but 2 is enough because the Icejade field spell can get it from banish or graveyard. Plus Aegirine can search for it with Icejade Cradle. Marincess is also great in getting Aegirine back to continue your icejade plays so she is important in recovery. Gameciel, Kingfisher, and Aegirine can work well together. You can Gameciel on to their field, then Kingfisher can return Gameciel to your hand, then Gameciel on their field again. After Gameciel dies, Aegirine can revive Gameciel to field, when she is attacked and at end of turn Gameciel returns to your hand, so next turn you can Gameciel their board again. Frogs are bait for hand traps, but they also let you dump icejades into the graveyard, which can revive icejades onto the field when any aqua dies.

@@minajmyles2687 Because its easier to summon in sword soul. Longyuan can summon her easy. Ice jade only has 1 lvl7 and 1 lvl3 monster. It is much harder to make it in ice jade than sword soul. Would sword soul ever use it is the question.

Mirrorjades are so much fun but need more support tbh. If we “read” the level 5 icejade sends itself to the grave to special summon a water monster (I summon the level 5 water floodgate usually) then in grave when an icejade is destroyed by battle or card effect you get to summon another one for constant looping and battle phase bullshit 😂. It just loses to ash if you brick and have to normal summon. It also struggles playing it pure so add sea stealth and some Umi monsters
