I think you missed out on the last part of the video. It was not that 'Hamza mistakenly views Hunter as insincere', but on the other hand Hamza has demonstrated that Hunter was 'insincere' in the sense that he has biases which blinded him from reading the Bible in ways that is reasonable. And it's not a bad/wrong thing to point it out. It's not humiliating or insulting as well, especially if those who comes into the Arena knows what/who they're against. This is the place for those discussion and critics to be challenge and I do respect Hunter for not being emotional over it since he can see that as well in the end (of his biases and lack of understanding about his own Bible). It's easy for us viewers/commentators to criticise the interaction of others when we ourselves are not part of it, and I think everyone who choose to watch this (especially Muslims) to watch the whole interaction till the end. The gem is actually in how they part ways after the conversation. You'd be able to see clearly that regardless of what was the issues being discussed, a good and beneficial conversation/session is when all parties could bid farewell without no hard feelings. It's a learning curve, it's not always flower and sunshine.

@@jordanmichael7403 then you didn't watch the whole thing till the end. I never said he's unwilling to listen, tho. Just because someone (i.e Hunter) has the awareness and humble enough to accept his lack of knowledge in the issues that he brought up, that doesn't make him unbiased. He wasn't being critical with the Bible as he was raised to accept the Church understanding of the scripture, that's a bias. Having him (Hunter) able to listen and accept reasonings, that just shows that he's rational and mature (but still religiously bias). Being aware of the bias state is what will make one learn and be more sincere in their approach and thinking. It's not a negative thing to have your bias pointed out, especially in the case of critically looking at religions.

Recalling listening to the speech of Allah and the translation that it is not poetry I did the search for Pickthal translation and found the following. It is within Surah Yasin. (36:69) Pickthall: And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain, 36:70 To warn whosoever liveth, and that the word may be fulfilled against the disbelievers.

Good discussion - the only thing I would add, just to keep the narrative going (and to add a touch of controversy!), is that who other than God has the right to allow anyone the right to enter Paradise? No one, obviously; God is the final and only judge on who is given admittance to Heaven and who is cast into Hell. Therefore, when Jesus looks across and speaks to the criminal on the cross saying, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in Paradise" (in response to the criminal's preceding words) if He was a mere prophet, how would He have the authority and audacity, to say something that only God has the right to decide? As mentioned, great discussion, which left everyone with plenty the think about.

Umm...because prophets receive revelation. God informs Jesus who will be in heaven or not if needed. Like for example, Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him literally told 10 of his companions they will be in heaven. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Abu Bakr will be in Paradise , `Umar will be in Paradise, `Uthman will be in Paradise , `Ali will be in Paradise, Talhah will be in Paradise, al-Zubayr will be in Paradise, `Abd al-Rahman ibn `Awf will be in Paradise, Sa`d will be in Paradise, Sa`id will be in Paradise , and Abu `Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah will be in Paradise.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 3747) No only that, He even told us about a specific person that killed her cat by starving it in the cage will enter hell. He told us about a prostitute who gave water to a thirsty animal will be in heaven, he heard one of his companions foodstep in heaven, etc (so he knows who will go to hell or heaven). Allah can reveal these things to Him if needed. Allah is the one that Knows all of the Unseen and what happens in the future. Therefore, it absolutely makes perfect sense when Prophet Jesus, Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon them, etc say things like you will be in heaven or such person will be in hell because God can inform them part of the unseen to Whom He Wishes. Just like Angels are part of the unseen, prophets of God can have an encounter with Angels when God unveil that part of the unseen to them. Like for example, we know Prophet Muhammad has seen Hellfire and Heaven, had heard Allah's voice and spoke to him when he was taken on a the night journey, etc. Some types of unseen are revealed to the Prophets and they are relayed to us to help us get some wisdom, proof of their Prophethood, etc.

and they're full of contradictions and inconsistencies because they're literally the words of men, written and/or altered/ammended well past the lives of the previous prophets sent by God; the Injeel (the gospel that Jesus PBUH) preached as it was originally revealed and the Torah as it was preached by Moses PBUH as it was revealed were both lost to time - the original messages of those two revelations have been lost - think the game of telephone on a much larger timescale whereas the final revelation given to the Muhammad PBUH has been preserved, it it's original language with zero changes, and the words are not of man but the words of God (literally so if you read it in it's original Arabic) it's not Muslims who are confused here; our path and our revelation is clear; it's the final revelation given to mankind from Allah - we as creations of God have no right to 'change' the word of God in any way, no alterations, no amendments; think copyright, only God has authority over his message, since he is the author, we have no right to change it, to alter it, that's a grave blasphemy there are no versions of the truth, there is only the truth: singular and unchanging

@@gondala Lemme give you one as a starter. Zayd ibn Thabbit. Zayd ibn Thabbit was one of the scribes of the Prophet. Who do I know that? Zayd ibn Thabit reported: I was sitting to the side of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, one day as the revelation came to him... The Prophet said, “Write, O Zayd.” I took a shoulder bone and the Prophet said, “Write: Not equal are those who stay back and those who wage jihad among the believers,” until the end of the verse, “… a great reward,” (4:95). So I wrote that on a shoulder bone. (Musnad Ahmad 21664) "... Then Abu Bakr said (to me). 'You are a wise young man and we do not have any suspicion about you, and you used to write the Divine Inspiration for Allah's Messenger..." (Bukhari 4986) So don't ever say "It is similar with the Qur’an"

Oral tradition Muslims focus on memorization a lot. We have manuscripts that go back to the time of the Prophet pbuh and hadith which have chains of narration that tell us which companions wrote the verses down. This is a lot more evidence than the new testament which bible scholars say have anonymous authors and have no original manuscripts. I would suggest researching your own scripture according to your bible scholars before trying to talk about other religious scriptures. It's embarrassing you don't even know your own scriptures history. You're on the Internet please go and educate yourself
