No Peek Chicken Casserole - Comfort Food Made Easy - Steph’s Stove

No Peek Chicken Casserole
2 cups instant rice
2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
6 chicken tenders OR 2 large chicken breast (cut in strips)
2 cups chicken broth
1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
Salt/Pepper to taste
Add rice and soup to a13x9 baking dish. Pour chicken broth over rice mixture and whisk to incorporate ingredients, then add chicken on top of the rice mixture. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper to taste. Add one packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix over the chicken - Do Not Stir. Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 1-hour.
Carefully remove the foil, serve, and enjoy!

I think I would have to mix the soup mix in with the other ingredients. I see that some of it was still powdery at the top and biting into a salty bit of soup mix would not be pleasant. This looks like a great recipe all in all though and I am going to try it. Thank you for a new idea!

It really does settle on top and allows a great deal of flavor. Also, if you have some in your family that isn’t a onion fan, they can eat around the onion soup. This method does provide a pretty presentation but you can feel free to customize according to what your family likes. It’s a great casserole, very versatile, easy to make, and perfect for Fall. They are oven liner that I found at my local Aldi for a pack of two. If you have a spill, allow the oven to cool and just wipe clean. It’s perfect to keep the oven clean and prevent baked in messes. I see them about every other month and are very reasonably priced. Glad you enjoyed the video. This is perfect comfort food! Have a blessed night!!!
