I have uninstalled all my social media except KZbin. It’s been 3 weeks now feels good overall having more time and clear 💭 thoughts. Just concluded the March calendar ! Easter bible challenge and 🎉ugh I’m so filled !! How fitting day one started with Anointing and Today 3/31 ends with Go!!! Happy Resurrection Sunday ! 🎉

I love doing my Bible study this way. I have a little studio apartment so I usually have all my Bible study goodies spread out over my bed. I get so caught up in it, in the very best way, that I lose track of time sometimes 🙌🏼😊❤️🎨✍🏼☕️

Isn’t that the best? If I could do that I would love it so much. Two hours studying doesn’t seem to be enough lol When Covid was out and about, I had lost my full-time job and was furloughed from my part-time job. I had 3 months to spend in God’s word (I got both jobs back). Looking back it was the best time of my life. And I never had to touch any money in my savings. 😊 I miss that time with Him so I try to “go back in time” every once in a while with 1.5-2 hour study time. And I’m my mom’s caretaker. She lives with me so 2 hours is a delight!

Lately,I’ve unsubscribed to a lot of “Christian content”. If anything all it did in my life was bring in anxiety. I really like this channel because not only does it benefit you, it benefits the watchers. You get straight to the point. I’ve really learned a lot. And you’re right none of those videos will satisfy us. The only thing that ever satisfies us is the words God graciously gave us. I relate so much to your content. So I think that’s another reason why I won’t unsubscribe. God is using your content. It’s blessing me to witness over and over Gods goodness! I love Hebrews so I really enjoyed this today! We finished Hebrews in my Bible study group at church last year but it's always good to review and to read it again.I never use my phone for Bible study. It's always straight from my Bible and using my book that I got for Christmas...The Bible in 52 Weeks. It's been so helpful to me! Thank you for this today Ashley! ♥

You can always get back into journaling / prayer journaling whenever you want :) Some seasons are better than others for journaling! I should show an updated version!

I just saw one of your videos. It was a 7 years old video. You looked so young. Don't you go back sometime and whatch them thinking, "wow how different i was?" Or "how wrong i was about this or that?"

It is weird to look back on, and I am thankful for the growth God has done within me after all these years. I hope to continue to learn and grow everyday! :)

Not everyone gets the same things you get from it. It depends on how you were taught about God and their perspective of him. It's great that you get all that, but you can't put a one size fits all thing to it. I'm not saying we don't get taught and touched by the word. I'm just saying that it's how you are taught about him that we form our perspective of God and how we relate to him. If we were taught that God is judgmental and condemning then that is how we relate to him and we don't get that excitement others get.

No matter what you have been taught, you have to always come back to what Scripture says about who God is. God is not condemning for those who are in Christ: Romans 8:1-2 says, "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death." Scripture also says that God is a righteous judge (Psalm 7:11) - and I am glad that He is because all the evil in this world including Satan will be judged and defeated by our Holy God. I long for justice and I wait for my God to one day make all things right and for Jesus to win the final victory and defeat evil forever. I know that in Christ, there is no judgement from God (John 3:18). I can rest in Christ's saving work on the cross. More than anything, I know that my God is LOVE. I rest in that :)
