I now have the distinct pleasure of owning a 2019 GT2 RS but if I still owned my 997 TT I would be all over the PCCM plus, what a great product upgrade offered by Porsche. As to going camping in a 911, while I think that has a definite 9.9 cool factor, where we go camping it is much more functional to take my F150 Fx4.

Nice video. I’m thrilled to see you utilizing your ride in this manner. I have owned my 996 C4S now for a few months. Two things: I am seeing the PCCM+ at Suncoast parts for around $1300. Is that going to be the best price point? And did you order the cubby hole with it? I see there are two options, but most I’m seeing via the videos is the square cubby that fits just below the unit. Also, does the charger/USB come with the unit? Two, I love your engine piping. I just had my mufflers fitted with the Fister Mufflers and it sounds great. What option did you go with? If Porsche marketing are reading these comments, *please* make a PCCM plus to replace the PCM3.0/3.1 generation head units. I would book my 991.1 into a Porsche centre straight away to upgrade mine to have Carplay, Waze and Google Maps. I’m sure there’s many 997 owners out there that consider their cars classics now but are stuck with late 90’s satnav tech in their cars. You would gain so many new first time car owners and future loyal brand customers.
