I like to play this song over the sound bar when I’m home alone, especially on rainy grey days. I put on a kimono with long sleeves and float around the house like a ghost. Light tidying, reading a book, watering the inside plants, sitting and enjoying a cocktail by the dim window. I’ve even caught myself humming it while out in the garden.

@@B.l.i.s.s.f.u.l It definitely has the same sad, uncanny, ghostly feel where it's both beautiful, loungey, and gives off an era most of us never lived but know it was important to other people back then, and it has that power of being familiar but cautiously certain other worldly quality, the subtle echo that makes it feel like a record playing in an empty dance hall that was beautiful and buzzing with activity but now is just empty rotten honeycombs of what used to be everyone's Saturday night. But yeah I agree it doesn't sound musically similar, but damn it if both won't fit the same scene. The sudden way "It's just a burning memory" stops is so creepy. Where this just loops so it feels relievingly predictable.
