No power Samsung RV510 no boot doesn't turn on

My old Samsung laptop which I reinstalled for my daughter a couple of weeks ago suddenly stopped working.
After a few hours of googling etc, I was able ready to strip the laptop for parts when I found the culprit.
The usb/power button module is faulty. This part is about a fiver used on eBay.
Lots of screws on the back, remove keyboard, unplug speakers, optical drive etc pop off the top case to access.
Quite a faff, and expect it to take a while.

Hi Wayne, thanks for making this video as it really helped me. Before watching this I thought it was a main board issue. I would recommend staying away from the power switch/USB board V1.0 with the red switch as that seems to be the one that fails. Get the 1.1 revision with the black switch (or later) as that doesn't seem to suffer from the same fault.

Keeps shutting down? Overheating? Ram faults... Could be anything...
