Like how illegal aliens were later called undocumented immigrants, and now they're trying to call them undocumented citizens, then they get the corrupt courts to make precedent on the new terms. Illegal aliens don't even have the right to be safely escorted back to the border, they are criminals. But undocumented immigrants, somehow they can get our money free from the government? People need to stop voting for a party of a person, they need to vote for policy that you think is best for you and people you care about (particle policy that benefits your country) and if the leads one way or the other so be it, also people need to focus on local elections more because they are most important in a lot ways. Oh, and lastly, I am starting to lean towards not everyone should vote as some people are to stupid to vote and know nothing about cause and effect of policy's.

I share you sentiment my dear. I think this is why our founders were sceptical of pure democracy. And why our system was designed as a Constitutional Republic. A lot don't know or remember the difference.

I agree that we need debates! We should have seen debates for the primaries too. Debates should be public and widely publicized. Our candidates should be held accountable and expected to answer questions people want the answers to. We should have had actually competitive primaries (and by this, I mostly mean on the Democratic side, since Republicans had a much more competitive primary). The majority of Americans want neither of these candidates. We might prefer one over the other if backed into a corner and forced to pick (I would personally rather have Biden than Trump), but that doesn't mean we have any faith in their leadership. Anybody who's super enthusiastic about either option isn't paying attention in my opinion.

I'm a Republican, but y'all deserve better than this. I don't personally understand how anyone can support a candidate who constantly spouts "our democracy is in danger" and then pulls this, says "if you don't vote for me you ain't black", said "I don't want my kids to grow up in a jungle" about desegregation (but his whole party and media call their opponents racist).. I mean the list goes on with the boxes on boxes of classified documents stacked in his garage (taken when he wasn't the sitting president) and his money laundering scheme to take money from foreign countries in exchange for favors via shell companies. Now he refuses to debate and you would STILL rather have Biden than Trump. Makes no sense to me.

@@technoloverish Have you not paid any attention at all to the uncommitted vote? He has actually been getting a surprising amount of pushback in many states despite the DNC fighting SO hard to stop a free and open primary. Hell, Florida decided to just not have a primary! That should not be legal.

The Democratic Party loves to shout about how they love democracy but they aren't acting like it right now and it's shameful. I haven't seen any evidence on the money laundering scheme (are you talking about the Hunter Biden fiasco?), but maybe you could point me in the direction of learning more. It can be easy to miss information, even if we try not to be in an echo chamber. Trump also had his own, honestly even worse situation with classified documents, so that doesn't sway me much unfortunately. Neither are excellent choices.

Remember in 2020 Biden said Hunter’s laptop didn’t exist and there were 50+ intelligence people that testified Hunter’s laptop was a rumor started by Russian collusion? All a proven lie. I 100% agree. Regardless of political stance. Trump is a candidate and Biden is a candidate. They debate. Period. But these ladies are coming up with excuses for Biden not to? One of them being that Trump has non-verbal cues during the debates that end up persuading the people to see his side? Lady- that’s called debate strategy. A good competitor should be easily be able to handle Trump’s debate style and persuade the people themselves through their own strategy. Them thinking that Trump being able to have a strong presence in a political debate being some sort of evil to avoid is so delusional… like would you rather have someone who can’t handle difficult conversations and debate? That’s LEGITIMATELY PART OF THE JOB.

What you are watching is an old clip that was during the Republican primary race and that's why Biden had the snarky remark. Yet Trump was dodging debates with the other candidates like Chris Christie, Nikki Haley, and Ron Desantis. Biden was busy securing the bipartisan bill to secure the border which Trump ordered the Republican party to vote no after they orchestrated and negotiated it to their favor. First primary candidates debate wont even start til June. As of right now, Trump has to worry about keeping his butt out of jail as he fights to stay out if prison. Which is why Biden has kept his distance, because he is waiting to see if he Trump will even qualify to be President after his court cases get finalized. It might have to switch to Nikki Haley or Desantis. Are they going to debate? Yes. Just like they did before. The only thing I see here is an attempt to stir the pot prematurely. Let things simmer. I just wonder if Trump is going to be napping like he has been in court or is he gonna take some Adderall before hand again. He should really go get checked out.

From an entertainment perspective, yes. However strategically there wasn’t no point. That’s like calling Biden a coward for not debating Marianne Williamson. It goes both ways, when you’re leading by double digits, it’s not the smartest thing to allocate time on the debate stage because it takes away from on ground campaigning.
