I went product free by doing braid outs and my hair was always so cute! But i had to do my hair ever 2 days, so still time consuming

I actually love my hair with no product

So I've done this on and off a lot since about 2015. Been trying to find good products for myself that help me with the moisture in the shower so I don't need any or as many post wash hair products

Lol I’ve also gone three weeks... but that’s because of laziness 😅. I cut my hair specifically so I can enjoy my laziness guilt free 🤷🏽♀️

I love your accent and your beautiful 😍 I am not necessarily going product free… but what I do is oil my scalp spray my hair with aloe Vera juice and cover my hair with a plastic bag/cap and then a head wrap

Love the concept, tried it once per your influence...its an adjustment but definitely a game changer in routine 😀

Never thought about going product free and I think I need to reset /reboot a bit from my hair products...I try out different products and do reviews but by doing this it will also give me a clear indication how that product will work on my naked hair...Thanks Amy this was very informative....

Definitely! At their core hair products each have their own ingredients, and are formulated in various ways. So if you aren't removing that completely, when you put on the next product, they are just mixing and mushing together 😅 ... Let me know how it goes 😊

I have been doing this due to sheer laziness lol

😅 Relatable content! Do you find that it has an effect when you actually apply products?

Doesn't your hair tend to tangle more when it's product free?
@BushBabyAmy4 жыл бұрын
Hey babe! So in the video under the 'maintenance' section, I do address this - not sure if you caught it. But ultimately when I keep it twisted there's not much more tangling than if I did apply product. Hope this answers your question 😊

@@BushBabyAmy thank you, I think I missed it sorry, I was busy watching your video while working 😊but thanks this answers my question 🌺

During my lazy days if i went product free for more than 3 days my hair will start breaking.... So i don't take chances anymore...

This could never be me 😥😥

@@BushBabyAmy there would be more hair on everything and anywhere else except my head - it would break
@BushBabyAmy4 жыл бұрын
@@YandiBut Look, I would definitely not recommend going product free for 3 weeks. But I would encourage you to try it for at least 24hours. Also be sure to moisturize before manipulating/styling your hair. Your hair won't break unless you try manipulate it whilst dry. Or is it still a no from you? 😅

This is the end of my first day. My hair is really shrinking and some of the sections are zig-zag, and at the center are tiny coils all packed together, and at my nape it is silkier and kinda bushy. My hairline is very soft and fine and is the straightest,

I did add a little bit of Blue Magic so I guess I cheated. My hair is going through a healthy phase but I am trying to correct moisture overload and this really should help if I just let my hair "be" for a while.

The frizz ❤. I've be going product free because of quarantine 😥. My scalp has experience extreme dryness and I actually thought it was dandruff. Also the breakage was a lot

Thank you sis 🌻 How long were you going Product-free for? And when were you experiencing the breakage?
