What's funny is that I did the extra work to get the Real ID, but at the end, I'm always so panicky with traveling that I always have my pasport with me anyway.

the real id costs more than a standard driver license, which is stupid. they make it mandatory and then put up a roadblock to getting it.

@@a10warthog4 Your ID number and your DL number are the same. So no matter. If you get a "Real ID" It will cover both. I know. I've seen more DL's and ID's then anyone inn the TSA.
