That's the only problem that I can see with Eminem's fan base: most of the fans only acknowledge Eminem's verses but they hardly ever acknowledge the people being featured. Most of the comments I see are about Eminem and that's natural and goes for any artist, but I'm usually lucky enough to find that one guy who acknowledges the ones being featured so whenever I see a comment like this, I think to myself "finally"
@justgermanpleasexcusemywri36184 жыл бұрын
@@TexanSilver to be fair it isnt nearly worth to talk about his features. They are always awesome and I would be more surprised if they sounding casual or out of place.
@TexanSilver4 жыл бұрын
@@justgermanpleasexcusemywri3618 well, there are some features that I won't really care if they're mentioned or not but then there's others that do their jobs as a feature and make the song better that I feel deserve recognition for, like on Those Kinda Nights, I think there's 1 comment I saw that actually talked about Ed Sheeran and how good he goes with Em's songs and I was glad that someone finally gave Ed some recognition because he made the song so much better than what it already was, and like I said, it's natural for fans to talk about the main artist since it's their song, but it just feels like most artists that get featured by Eminem almost never get the recognition that they deserve, even if they themselves are popular

The fact that snoop had to explain y he did not keep em in his top 10 while eminem never mentioned snoop in his top 10 and never had to give any explanation for that tells us he is the true goat, Tupac and biggie no matter are legends but the fact that they died early gives them a soft side too, they didn't have to probe themselves again and again, nas on the other hand has illmatic as his best album but after that I don't think he ever made a generation defining album or anything. Em has a lot of years to come and tbh, the songs are gonna just get more legendary. He'll prove again he is the GOAT, and critics would be like, fuck him he's nowhere near goat

I can also remember the NYC emotional performance of "Walk On Water"; I guess Em felt the support there, so this song is probably a grateful response to the fans. Instead of going back and forth on whether or not he's the GOAT (which he is), let's just enjoy the fact that he still cares about his craft. He still goes hard to make sure he's giving his fans the very best he can. Is he going to kill every single beat? Probably not, but rest assure he's going to give you a bar or two, or three, that's going fly over your head because you're too busy debating if he deserves to be your top 5. Thank you, Marshall.
