You can get one birch tree down near the river in town not far from Crucible entry. Look for the stripy tree. Only one of them seems cuttable

@@GunKaraka The only reason I can think of as to why they wouldn't allow you to change up builds easily is so that you put in more game time, leveling other characters. Instead of making it expensive, maybe they could allow it once you've unlocked the crucible. Something on those lines.

This patch is good but not a game changer as nothing has really changed in the game, specifically for most of us who already finished the content. There is no much added and nothing to do more… we would have appreciated a respec at least to run new builds. But i am not returning for doing the same thing in a better performance…

You don’t need to carry runes around though. Just dump them into storage. Also, you’ll not get them from drops, so the only time you’d get them is in town.

Ya, but I feel it’s necessary. Especially moving forward in the game. Being able to instantly and easily upgrade your gear to max is not a good system. This might be the pendulum swinging too hard the other way but I think it’s necessary in order to find a nice balance. You can easily make multiple realms and just rush to upgrade the general vendor to max. He often sells silver with his daily refresh so you can farm his shop on multiple realms every day. Obviously that’s not great, but if you combine that with the silver nodes (1 at the end of Iona’s cavern, 1 above the rock quarry) it’s not the worst. The nodes will respawn frequently throughout the day.

@DirtRabbit I just don't think you should need multiple characters to efficiently upgrade your gear on one of them. The silver mines are too few and take too long to get to. Then, you have to wait something like 30 minutes to refine the materials. I want to play the game, not run around all day to get 2 silver for a single armor upgrade. I can't be the only one super annoyed by this system.

I wasn’t saying my idea was a good idea, but it’s the only solution that exists to relieve some of your frustration. Trust me, when the devs get wind that we are simply exploiting a bad system through rather lame game play they will want to shift it in some way. My first inclination is that they’ll offer raw material sales at x amount, refreshing daily. But I still stand by initial opinion, allowing instant and easy upgrading to max quality is a bad system. It’s worse than the system they have now. Character progression isn’t character progression if it happens instantly with no effort at all. That’s just a lame menu simulator. Click click click you’re done!!

So today I learned something new! You can completely skip the entire sewers map and go straight to the boss. But if you do that then you screw up the map and can no longer access the water channel (plague doctor area). When having fun exploring bites you in the butt amiright?! Super funny.

Good Video, i was playing an agility / archer class and i did had some trouble in the beginning with the focus requirement of shooting a bow (i got used to it but it felt a bit under powered compared to my strength character). now with this change, Bow is very powerfull and it allows to "cheese" some enemies, it now kinda feels a bit to easy. I m not sure if i m a fan of this change or not. i know in every game bows are always hard to balance. But what ever they decide to go with in the long run, this game is awesome.

Yeap.. this is how early access should be done. For now 21hrs in the game (I'm exploring, did just Sacrament mission and few bounties and challenges) and lots of exploring and looting:) . I'll probably go to 150hrs and stop there and wait for next act. I still haven't finished DD2, after 100hrs I had to stop and take a break but will definitely finish it after I burn in Wicked :) .. for now, Wicked is a ton of fun and I'm not letting it go :) . Not being able to buy ingots anymore is tragic. Used a lot for experimenting with weapons and some challenges require up to 10 ingots. Got excited to get the new armor and realized I had no silver :/

While you were absolutely correct about the key binding changes, unfortunately its flawed to near uselessness for me. You cannot rebind keys to side mouse buttons and they did other guesses how we will want to use a mouse rather than allowing us to actually adjust them, so they still have work to do. The rest of the patch was awesome!

By removing finished products from vendors they have really hurt the game. Silver is impossible to find. Took me almost 2 hours to get enough ore for 1 weapon upgrade. This is very frustrating. But a solid update outside of that.

I’m probably at 75 hours played for time. I still plan on checking characters. I expect I’ll level at least 3 builds to max. (One is 28, the next 2 are like 22.) Might even get a 4th. For me it’s about planning my build for launch, though those plans may change based on changes or new loot along the way. I feel though with 2 hrs played post patch, my highest who is all strength (I don’t think has any stamina recovery items that were affected) can only do about 60% of the dodges or attacks as before (1hd+shield). I was often running out of stamina in 1v2 crucible fights. And it feels like my blood soaked sword only has 75% of the range it used to, in addition to the swings changing to swipe, swipe, thrust, down from swipe, swipe, quick double swipe. No respec option this build really hurts things since you can’t adjust stats to compensate for what feels changed.

I'm playing both versions. - those idiots added customize controls for keyboard and mouse but I CANNOT MAP MOUSE SIDE BUTTONS, LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The most stupid developers team I've ever seen in my life :D - using bows playing on keyboard and mouse is almost impossible, because you must hold offhand weapon button, shoot with runes buttons 1-4 and move and dodge with WASD and Space. Sorry I'm not octopus with 8 tentacles. - ninja nerf to drop. Almost no weapons and armors drop now. - still no respec - nerfed all potions half - removed resources from vendors. Nice review of the patch. I have about 110 hrs in and have several max lvl characters. Will be trying the new update a little later today. Was hoping for respec and controller rebinds or a little new content. Great game so far thanks for the video

Whilst I love this game, this latest patch has made some things worse, not better. The hitching is now more prevalent that before the patch, in and around the Orban Glades (for me at least); crafting from storage is great but having less overall 'on-person' inventory tabs has moved the problem somewhere else but by far the worst change is the camera behavior during combat encounters is horrible - the zoom on the camera in the previous hotfix build was fine but now it's really aggressively zoomed in and takes 3 to 4 seconds to pan back out. So far these are the issues I have encountered with this new camera behavior: 1. Camera zooms in so aggressively that in precarious areas it's often hard to tell where the edge of the combat area is before you'll yeet off and let gravity do it's dirty job 2. Due to the slow pan out timer if you get into a sequence of fights then camera can get into a sequence of yo-yoing in and out which is feels horrible - killing the sirens that spawn other sirens can also cause this to happen when they pop out their mini versions but generally they pop within the 3s 3. There seems to now be a 'pan' function within this combat camera - I got in a fight with 2 enemies and did a dash attack right to left - the camera followed that attack and then seemed to 'pause' on the dying enemy and then lurched right across the screen to the other enemy before swaying back to focus on my character - this might be some sort of bug but it gave me motion sickness Does anyone know if this is something in the settings I can adjust? There doesn't seem to be anything obvious and the 'Camera Zoom' option doesn't seem to improve these issues for me.

I'm not really sure about the performance because I've been playing through Geforce Now currently, so always have above 100 fps, but can see how it's a big problem for alot of people. I don't really get what you mean about less on person inventory, them moving stuff to different tabs helped a shit load. I made a new character and realm, didn't immediately go do the ichor farm, and having to worry about clearing your material tab has been tremendously reduced. And ive had a few slight problems with the camera, but nothing like what you mentioned.

There's always been stuttering to some degree in certain places and leaving sacrament into the nameless pass was pretty bad in the early builds but they resolved that in an earlier patch. However, playing this patch I've had my first crash to desktop and I'm getting loading stutter in areas of the overworld I wasn't before. It'll settle down I'm sure. The storage tab thing - there' no longer a separate Tab for Runes and they are now put into the Gear Tab (I think) and they don't stack, so that's problematic but it's really not a huge issue because I'm sure all that will become more balanced. However, the 'combat camera' for me is the worst thing. Against big bosses it makes a kind of sense but I hate how much it zooms in now. If I could set the level of zoom or turn it off that would be good but having no control feels horrible (to me at least). That weird 'panning' thing where it swung from one enemy to another was just weird and probably just a bug.

I also tried a new character and new realm and the zooming of the combat camera I still hate. I hope they allow that to be adjusted in the options at some point or allow us to choose on the fly to zoom in/out at a button press or whatever. It's just something I don't like the feel of.

All that is required is a 100/30 Focus ring to compensate the Elemental Throw focus bump. Focus whilst it was a problem is far from what made the throw strong, its the Freeze and asinine amount of poise damage it was doing especially the return which does more because it hits the back of the enemy.

Agreed..I'm running a Str 2h ice throw build, the update changed that maybe every now and then I kill a mob using the sword for the gain on kill, and chug a pot or 2 for EK. tbh I quite like having to mix it up a bit more. Focus could do with a little more detuning imo

I've spent a lot of time and resources getting my build just right, I'm trying a mostly dex focused build with sword and bow. I used daggers to get me up to level 20 until my desired build was ready to take on the crucible. The bug I am experiencing is the rune powers do not work on the swords I have chosen, which are the azure blade and scimitar, when I hold down the LB button to activate a rune it shows all slots a empty, but when I go to my inventory it clearly shows the runes I've equipped. Of course I wanted some of those runes back so as they wouldn't work any way I had to destroy the weapons to retrieve them. Game breaking bug for me as I just wasted countless hours and resources for nothing. I haven't seen this bug mentioned in any hot fixes or the latest patch. I'm done with this game for now, I will wait to see if there's a fix for this eventually by subbing to your channel, I'm not starting again and I can't find any bear paws to upgrade the only weapon I can use at the moment.

I still think Focus should be nerfed to the ground even more. A game with this more methodical approach to combat shouldn't allow people to spam skills/spells that much.
