From what I saw, the police assault has limited waves. The first wave was just to contain the threat. The second wave is to suppress the threat sending already more units. And the third wave is to “eliminate” the threat sending all units possible. I like this idea for these “increasing difficulty” waves, so that also special units don’t spawn already at the beginning, like in Payday 2. Man, can’t wait to play it😭

@@Gigante_Royalethat’s sorta how it would be irl, not exactly like this but usually like most places don’t have their own swat team and police would just sit outside for hours waiting for a swat team from another area to show up, so like the heavy swat just aren’t there yet because they were getting ready while they hit you with the little guys

Yea the players do too if u have master trader. For me in the beta I had it and my buddies respawned in 10 seconds

Okay, this gameplay got me hyped up again. And i cant believe you already found tricks :D. But what police in the world aggrees to wait after robbers gave them all the hostages. Bots respaw fast. Also when you tell hostages to hit the floor, they all go synchronized which i think is kinda funny.

I've been playing the open beta today. Been loving it so far! First time completing it on hard without alarms, pretty sneaky tbh and challenging but still fun going loud!

Where did that information come from though, since there's no concrete details on the heist mechanics yet? But I believe it works similar to Meltdown's crowbar jamming, where adding more increases the efficiency, so why not?

@@UnknownKnightGaming i just assumed that because once the sprinklers go on, the fire shrinks back down to its normal small size, but adding all the thermite does seem to be faster, id have to time it when the game comes out

The thermite I think works like this : throw one bag and the fire is nice, wait 30-40 seconds and then throw the second bag, if you throw both at the same time the fire hit the sprinklers However The source on this one will be "trust me" since I wasn't there for the beta, I just saw lots of gameplay and some people started doing that after some time

Thanks for watching! Well, the counter-question is, why not? There's an optional objective to add more bags, as well as Shade saying that the thermite will burn through to the vault quicker if we add more bags.

i7-12650H, 16GB RAM, RTX 3060 Laptop version. I believe I was running on 1920x1080 with all settings on low except view distance. It's definitely more intensive than Payday 2.

Hey couldnt find anything on in but in PD2 you would earn attachments but have to pay to have it on is PD3 like that like if I earn an attachment can i just throw it on my gun or do u still have to pay?

Still have to pay, but it's a one-time thing and costs very little.

There's a timer before they are automatically released from custody. It works the same way for players. We don't need hostages to trade anymore (like in Payday 2).

Kiting has been a staple since PDTH. It doesn't quite feel like a proper strategy, but the alternative is to brute force through the enemies. Anyway, thanks for commenting.

How did you do it solo?

Basically, the unconventional strategy of kiting. We avoid the enemy and run circles around them while they try to catch up. It feels a little lame to be honest, but sometimes preferable to the alternative of brute-forcing our way through with bullets and more bullets.

Well, it's the game design. At 13:07, we can see the 6 bags were not enough to trigger the escape. There's still 2 bags in the deposit boxes but it's just easier to take the stained money.
