I always love watching the no rules worm bin!! Gives me hope that I can't quite get it wrong as long as there is enough produce for them to go after!! This bin is a bin of hope!! I'm sure they'll love the new additions!! Thank you for the update!!😊

Love that. The bin of hope 😁 Or maybe the Bin of Desperate Desire to Survive 😂 That's the point really of the EWWI and No Rules bin. It's not to say rules don't matter or apply or don't have their place. But as guidance. Depending on a ton of other factors. I'm trying to reassure newbies it's actually really hard to mess up a worm bin 😁 They've managed 600 million years without our help. They'll be fine 😁

@@LondonWorms Haha!! I'm a bit like that... "the Bin of Desperate Desire to Survive!!🤣🤣🤣 Yes, they, and I, will be fine even when the rules aren't followed!! I prefer guidance to rules any day!! This is and always has been a favourite in your series of videos, perhaps that's why!! There is no one way of doing things and no hard fast rules for worms!! They already have it in them to carry on!! Thanks for the update, Andy!! Warm regards from me, Oliver and Vax!!😊💖

😁 Hope all is well my friend. What's that old saying ... rules are there to be broken. 😁

I like that saying. As long as you're abiding by the golden rule then all else is fair game to be bent or broken! :)

A huge thank you for doing the leg work here. I'm a bit of a goody-two-shoes when it comes to following rules so I'm loving this information.

They have their place for sure. I'm trying to show though that a lot of what is taken as hard and fast rules really isn't the case. It all depends on the bin, the size, the ventilation, rhe amounts, the bedding, drainage ... tons of other factors that have a direct impact on what's actually fed to the bins. I'm a disruptor. I like studying and absorbing the rules so I know how to break them 😂 Always good to hear from you my friend. Hope all is well.

Great update! Love seeing what you interesting things you put in here and great detective skills figuring out who put the yogurt in 😂 Fantastic point about it’s not as simple as don’t put this or that in a worm bin.🪱🪱🪱

Hi there Ann from plant obsessed sent me over, Im going to start an outdoor worm bin, any tips for me? Thanks Nick, I'm in Northampton and I e had red wrigglers for 15 years in my compost bin outside. Should I just do what I've been doing? The bin will be different from what I've done before tho. 👍

Pumpkin and all I did not know grass was a nono

In larger amts and with a closed bin or poor ventilation fresh grass can cause problems. Ammonia. But in small amts with lots of space and tons of ventilation it's not an issue. Hope all is well with you my friend.

I throw everything in. I don't care. Everything eventually breaks down. Even if works don't eat it, there's other microbes that will go to work.
