No Side Seam Pants - Quick Pattern Drafting Tutorial Part 1

I love watching you teach Elsabe. You make EVERYTHING look so easy. I definitely want to try that style of pants as wide legs are popular right now. The hardest thing for me with pants that don't have an elastic band at the waist, is my constantly changing waistline measurement. I do love the look of how you described finishing the waist of your pants.

Hello Elsabe. Hope you are well. Thankyou so very much for this tutorial. I have been thinking of making a pair of paints without side seam for a while. With my trusted Sure Fit Design pattern it only took me a few minutes to draft this new pattern. You explained it so very clearly. I know it will turn out O.K. when I cut and sew my pants soon. Is it possible to add pockets in no side seam pants?

Thank you for watching. If you want pockets it will have to be patch pockets or slit pockets which I think will take away from the style.

Baie dankie Elsabe, kan ek my broekspype nouer maak as ek nie van sulke wye pype hou nie. Moet ek dan by elke pyp ewe veel afhaal aan die binne nate... sal dit werk?

Jy kan defnitief dit bietjie nouwr maak deur ewe veel aan elke kant in te bring. Ek wil voorstel dat jy eers een maak in n sagte somer lap sonder n verandering en kyk hoe dit op jou lyk. Die sagte lap staan nie wyd uit nie en hang mooi sag. Jy kan dan die broeks pyp geleidelik in bring en weer aantrek om te sien hoe dit lyk. Jy gaan moet geleidelik inbring sodat patroon gebalanseerd hang op jou lyf.
