Im a indoor range shooter, there is always good light conditions, so I thought night sights are over rated. Then I started playing airsoft... In dark buildings... shooting at camo dudes.... this is where i did realise how important it is to get glow in the dark sights. I didnt want to buy sights more expansive than my airsoft pistol, so I just use a flashlight, but once you turn it on, you have to be sure of your shot.

If you are training with your stock sights and performing well, any change would need to be an upgrade & you would start from zero again and re-learn. The question would be 'why' change from what works, even if it's basic

I don’t think the point he’s making is that sights are not important. What he’s showing is that, given enough repetition, the muscle memory of exactly where the handgun needs to be presented will be sufficient at a given distance. Keep in mind that you’re watching someone who has had hundreds of thousands of repetitions of correct presentation.

He's still aiming but without sights. Muscle memory is as important as aiming. With his finger and the top of the gun. At short range, you simply put the metal in the meat, no sights are needed. Regards.
