Acadia National Park is an all-day event and more! Thunder Hole has to be planned to see it on the incoming tides to really appreciate it. Bubble Rock needs to be seen standing next to it, incredible! Jordon's Lake was so serene! Getting up before Sunrise and go to the top of Cadillac Mountain while the Stars are still out and then watching the Sunrise! Magnificent! Take a Hoodie and maybe gloves, LOL.

By the way, if you’re ever in this area again at this time of year, you can probably get organic corn at John Edwards market in Ellsworth (the town near the end where you didn’t know the name as you turned left at the intersection). Also A&B Naturals right in Bar Harbor and finally Triple Chick Farm on the other side of that town. We live not too far from Ruth & Wimpy’s. Glad you had a great visit!

I used to live in the house you walked by when going down to the sandbar. Another house I Iived in just down the street on the water by the whale watch got torn down to make the whale watch etc. So right int he little square where you get your tickets used to be our porch. We would sit out and play guitar and drink beer after work. Back before the place became super commercialized.

@@exoman Was great watching you guys experience the place for the first time. Lots of great memories there. When my wifes sister came for the first time to America we used to go down on the sandbar and fly kites. so many 2 sstep nights in that town. What a great place to spend your summers in your 20's and then we moved to Key West or Utah for the winters. Good times.

The Ally Way shot was excellent! The first time we went to Bar Harbor, we took the Double Decker boat. We really lucked out, because we got to see many whales including a momma whale and her calf. It was like they were putting on a show for us! What an experience to see in person! MASSIVE mammals! It was amazing how close we were able to next to them! We also saw Puffins, Dolphins, Seals, 2 Bald Eagles!

Come out to Nantucket Island Massachusetts, ALL beaches are topless and we have a nude beach. We also have the most incredible restaurants in the Northeast, especially for such a small island!

There is a sign at Sand Beach in Acadia that says that the water can be in the 50's even in mid summer, and warns about hypothermia. Good luck skinny dipping into that water, honey.
