No staged ad showing short grass being mowed here! Husqvarna TS 146XK Mower, 1 year update/ review

I did a terrible video earlier...this is a replacement of that video. Mini- gripe...grease zerks are for show... you'd have to take apart -make ready to accept grease...they basically seal them assuming no one greases their mowers!

Not sure what is causing your engine to diesel when you cut it off but, if you are turning off the ignition at high rpm's, that could cause that problem. I always, i mean always, throttle back for a brief moment before turning off the engine. Good luck to you. I just purchased a new Husqvarna and love it.

I'm not sure either...weird. I throttle down...and can wait for awhile, but if it's warm, it does that. Not a big deal to me...just a quirk! Thanks for watching! Glad you like yours, too! Don't get me wrong...I like it overall. Everything seems to have its pros, cons, or oddities....even people, right? 🤣

I just bought 1, the dealer told me you are supposed to shut them off at full throttle.

Interesting. Will try it, but boy that sure goes against what we're used to doing! Seems so wrong. 🤔

@Kirk Prell I purchased mine this past fall. I would ask the dealer what his reasoning is. It has been my experience that shutting them off at high throttle can cause the engine to back fire. That is never good for the engine. Possibly the newer engine's are designed not to cause that. Did you purchase yours from a certified dealer or big boss store ? Clerks at the big box stores know very little about the products. I always buy from a dealer. Also, researching these mowers, the big box stores sell brand name mowers with cheaper components. For example, if you have a hydrostatic transmission, the box store units have a plastic housing, not cast metal. Good luck with your purchase.

@@denniswalston1217 The used to have a plastic casing. I have a poulan pro which is made by husqvarna and never had issue with it.

Not sure on transmission...I mow sideways on hills, and it does pretty well, as I can shift my weight. I burned up my last mower's transmission (Deere) going up hills too much. kzbin.info/www/bejne/emPNpayYm6xpeMU

Get a mulch kit, and it won’t throw grass clippings at you
