Don't forget - in this challenge, slingers will be the best ranged unit, even if you're fighting against Europeans. Cheapness and wood requirements for Merch Barracks pays above lack of range, and their damage is the same as archers.

Nah, he attacks pretty late, emir is probably worse, he attacks early with arab swordsmen...and without resources you'll be screwed if his 20 arab swordsmen in the first attack get your lord.

He already did that on empty map. Tax paesants - buy wood and sell bows later on. It would take ages to get your economy running so there is no way his lord would survive that long.
