I miss the times when you were able to fix up a KZbin video in-place, keeping the comments and statistics intact, and without annoying subscribers with pointless notifications. The old way obviously enabled certain forms of abuse, but there has got to be a better solution. That said, I hope the NSTATN production team will get their shit together and figure out how to get it right on the first upload. The elves are doing such outstanding work, they don't deserve having it fucked up like this. The vast majority of the 200+ YT channels I've subscribed to are leagues below BBC production values, and yet in 10 years of using YT, I have never experienced anywhere close to such an irksome rate of re-uploads. Superman does more than compress his spine. He changes his demeanor and voice, wears clothes that are too big so he looks meek and humble, and more importantly, few people actually KNOW Clark Kent, everyone in the world has seen Superman's face, but Clark is a nobody. There's also the fact that Superman is this all powerful alien that is entirely honest about what he is, nobody would assume he even HAS a secret identity. And there's all the times that Superman and Clark Kent HAVE been in the same room together thanks to trickery. So even people like Lois Lane who work closely with Clark have seen the two of them in the same room. So to people that know him, Clark Kent is just 'that nerd that looks a bit like Superman'. And strangers wouldn't even assume that Superman lives amongst them as a normal person, he's a _god_ amongst men, why would he? At best they might think "This guy looks a bit like superman". And the most damning evidence for this is that even Henry Cavill was not recognized as Superman in real life after his movie came out, he went out on the street wearing a bloody Superman t-shirt and nobody recognized him as the actor that plays Superman. People just don't notice take notice of a random person on the street like that!
