I just hope for two things. 1, they add offline mode by sometime in summer. And 2, when they do add offline mode they have it so even the dlc story is playable offline.

Nope, here’s why! DC comic book fans for decades wanted a Superman game and I mean a long time, a justice league game for a long time… it’s a no brainer!! What did WB want? They seem to be making some positive changes with Episode 2. If they can keep up their momentum, and do good improvements with each update, then by the end of the last season I think it'll be a really nice complete package. I doubt we'll get much more besides the announced 4 seasons though, maybe a fifth season to wrap things up like leaks suggest but I doubt it'll be much more than that.

Something about superhero fans that super annoys me is how everyone always has to flex how much they read comics. The comics are held as this untouchable thing that is always great. They say stuff like “this is my favourite non comic version of Batman” ”I love this suit cuz it’s like the comics”. You have to mention every time that the comics are amazing when giving an opinion. This game confirmed to me 95% of those people are just lying lol. Actual comicbook fans don’t care about this game ruining the Arkham series. That’s not how comicbook fans view storylines. You will never hear someone say “Tom King’s Batman ruins Scott Snyder’s Batman run”. Technically both writers are writing the same Batman but comicbook fans view the two storylines as their own thing. If you don’t like this games story just ignore it lol. The Arkham series is still there. Also you’re right people will be calling this game underrated in a few years. I remember the backlash Arkham Origins got on release and this game reminds me of that. I’m starting to see the “We owe Gotham Knights an Apology” videos going up. By 2026 you’ll have people say “Am I the only one that thinks SSKTJL is criminally underrated”.

Been watching your videos and honestly agree with your point. Like I understand certain groups not liking the gameplay as a shooter type which I'm one since I got used to the arkham games. But I'm willing to give it a try although it's bugs, and reskin of certain battles. I personally enjoy the story, yeah there's some points that retcon the already set cannon of the arkhamverse. But seeing them try to bring new stuff was interesting, and I give them props for giving us a time period in each chapter. Mainly because not every game should be crammed into a one day of gameplay. I just hope it brings more each chapter. Explaining more as to how the arkhamverse changed in the 5 year period after Knight. To me the main draw toward batman isn't fair. I admit I was one of many that was angry toward his death when it got leaked. But hoped it wasn't just that, then it was shown that they're clones, and that tease on his return made me excited. I find disrespectful to Kevin when everyone hates the game since it doesn't honor him or his character. Guys, Kevin was always excited for batman he always did projects he enjoyed and would be fun since he'd always give us his 100%. It's not fair that people wish the game to be canceled and we don't get to see his lines, or a final performance worthy of his title as batman. I'd rather watch this game progress and see how it ends, than to know what could've been like other canceled projects...

I'd like to remind everyone that in James Gunn's Suicide Squad they were able to kill a GIANT FUCKING STARFISH KAIJU FROM SPACE that could multiply into tiny versions of itself that could MIND CONTROL anyone they latched themselves onto, and THAT SAME Starfish has mind controlled members of the JL throughout various points of time, and they did that shit using only Javelins, Guns, a Shark with a baby brain, Polka Dots, and Rats. So yeah, the fact that the Suicide Squad could stand a chance at taking down the JL isn't that surprising to me. 🤷‍♂️

You did a good analysis of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Sure, I can agree why people are upset HOW the League died and that the game lacks variety in missions and enemies. But though I haven't played the game itself, I do enjoy third-person shooters. And if I get it on Steam, hey, the live service thing won't be an issue. That said, I can understand why people are upset about other bugs, glitches, and so on that really need to be fixed. That aside, you made a good summary and analysis for what the game's about and why people are giving it WAY too much hate. The game's not perfect and does a majority of flaws. But I do think it was done better than a lot of people think. "Oh, the mission is for a gang of criminal misfits with guns to kill the Justice League? That's impossible." I am aware that the Justice League is powerful, but even when together, they all have their fair share of weaknesses and are not invincible. Superman is really strong and fast, but is weak to kryptonite and red sunlight. Flash is fast, sure, but that doesn't mean he's untouchable or unhittable, even by a lot of non-speedsters. Some could be argued to have the power of gods, and that may be true, but they are NOT invincible, and can be defeated and or killed, even by some of their lesser enemies should the plot call for it. Plus, the sqaud has been getting their asses handed to them over time by individual league members before their boss fights, which shows just how much of a suicide mission this is. But you know what? It actually works. Cause that's the whole point. Their the "Suicide Squad" for crying out loud. Getting sent on suicide missions is kind of their shtick. And, before each of their boss fights, the squad is given special devices meant to exploit the League's weaknesses and give them a fighting chance. Cause without those devices, then...... yeah they're screwed. I can also say that you guys are right to hate the Batman and Brainiac boss fights. Batman just uses Fear Toxin to turn into a giant bat and firing slow-moving projectiles at the Squad, making them easy to avoid and easy to shoot the giant bullet sponge who looks like a demon bat. Though Demon Batman looks cool and sounds threatening, even more so for Evil Batman, I too would rather a fight more like the predator rooms from the Arkham games, where Batman is always moving about hiding in the darkness, and the squad needs special trackers or heat-signiture devices to detect him and get the jump on HIM before he gets the jump on THEM. That would be way more befitting for a Batman boss fight. Brainiac's just a reskin of the Flash with his minions added in as a bonus. It's really lazy, repetitive, and just don't feel worth it. Braniac's the big bad who invaded Metropolis, brainwashed the League, and has been close to conquering Earth only for him to fight with Flash's powers? Really? Who's bright idea was that? That said, I do think the other boss fights look decent enough. Flash runs around in a place where his speed and running space is more limited. He can make copies of himself, charge up lightning bolts, throw mines, and create giant tornados. Not too bad for a Flash fight. And though landing shots on him IS difficult due to his speed, he is vulnerable when he's charging up his lightning. Plus, the Speed Force decouplers limit his powers and make him more vulnerable to attacks. So, overall, it's not that bad. Especially when he gets crazier and more taunting throughout the fight. The only thing I dislike is him dropping dead after the fight, without any last words or lasting snarks before he slowly passes away. Green Lantern's fight may not be the most imaginative for him, but I do think it's interesting and adds in a REALLY nice challenge. We got helicopters, rocket launchers, missiles, giant laser towers, and mines popping up everywhere and we have to destroy them all in order to destroy Green Lantern's shield, in order to deal some damage on him. It's a way more varied fight than Flash's and a lot more difficult to avoid everything, but where's the fun if it's too easy? I feel like GL had the BEST boss fight in the game. Plus, he was still breathing at the end with some last-minute snarks BEFORE Deadshot landed the killing blow. So, that's a huge plus. Then we come to Superman's fight. He has all his trademark powers. Using tanks as baseball bats, heat vision, frost breath, insanely fast flying speed, and even a sun nuke attack than can encompass the whole area. The Gold Krypotonite is really what the Squad needed to weaken his powers, deal some actual damage, and eventually bring down the Man of Steel. Though due to him always flying and being airborne, landing shots on him is no easy task. But that's a decent enough challenge for a boss fight. And like I said before with Flash, just because someone has super speed does NOT make them unhittable even by foes way slower than them. Though, again, Superman drops dead after his fight like Flash without any last words before the gold kryptonite fully kicks in and kills him. So overall, though the game has its faults, I personally think fans are taking some things WAY too seriously and give it WAY more hate than it deserves. Maybe it would be better if it WEREN'T a live service game. But aside from that, the bugs and some other problems with repetitiveness, the game's actually not all that bad.

My honest take on this game is that it's very mid I bought the 120$ addition and didn't even get to play the 72 hours also had to wait a few extra days to get my deluxe outfits the story starts strong then dies doing the same 4 missions thru out the story gave me brain rot I had alot of fun on the batman sections and the story was a 4/10 now the end game farming the same I think 4 missions is it just gets old real fast the only refresher being new guns to get and 1 new mission when eps 2 comes out they said builds would keep us going for a while but it seems there's like only 2 viable builds for every character on higher ranks I'm in the current mindset of I want to play this game but there's nothing I want to do in it the game isn't horrible but it's not worth the 70$ at all this game should have been free and if not the skins should be round 5 dollars each I don't hate this game but it's getting kinda ridiculous I enjoyed the video tho you have a goodnight or day

Respectfully I disagree with a few points you made. 1. I'd argue Harley's character is very inconsistent, regardless of the 5 year timespan between Knight and SSKTJL, because of her massive infatuation with the Joker. To me, its doubtful for her to "move on" from the Joker yet, maintain the Harley Quinn persona given to her by the Joker and I'm well aware that this has been done before (Birds Of Prey, Harley Quinn Show and current comics) though imo if Harley really did some "healing" to get over her infatuation, you would see her revert back to how she was before she met Joker, especially how in the Arkhamverse she became Harley soley because she fell in love with Joker, so says her WIKI. 2. On the "We Didn't Ask For This" while yes in some cases when we get something we don't ask for its not as bad, I'd argue that this is really bad since this type of game was made a prioritized over a game where you can play as DC most iconic characters. The Justice League is well known and beloved by many DC fans and seeing as how Batman got his fair share of games, then it would only makes sense to give that same push to someone just as popular like Superman or the Justice League entirely. Instead of being able to play as DC's most beloved heroes, we are instead supposed to kill them, which is made even worse when considering this is supposed to be the introduction of the Justice League in the Arkhamverse. The idea of the Suicide Squad getting their own game isn't bad, it's only bad in this case because they are not only prioritized more than the heroes that are faces of DC but, also are given the narrative where they have to kill the faces of DC. 3. When it comes to the team that is Suicide Squad, while yes these 4 have been the most popular in recent years when associated with the Squad, the incoming DLC characters are not really recognizable ones or just characters that don't fit the Squad at all, minus Deathstroke. 4. While I can't speak on this issue personally, because I haven't played the game I have a friend who very much defended SSKTJL and when the Joker DLC came out, he was very annoyed with it due to how repetitive the missions felt and the process it took to unlock the Joker. While you might have been fine with the process by it that doesn't mean everyone else aren't. These disagreements aren't meant to start an argument, I'm just pointing my opinions as were you.

no it was not "very clear that Batman started using fear toxin" because that would mean he decided to chemically torture people like the Scarecrow tortured him. Most people interpreted the ending of Knight as being symbolic, that his lasting legacy was that criminals are still terrified of him. Never did it cross my mind that he was throwing fear toxin around Gotham, using his enemy's chemical weapon when he doesn't even need to.

I agree with you in absolutely everything you said and shared in this video. The main issue SS had is that is was picked by many to shit on it WAY before the game released. This issue is not only DC fans targeted but essentially it was the gamers community, which nowadays is more focused on hating on games and people genuinely enjoying something. You can see this problem happening to Stellar Blade and Helldivers 2, games that are completely fine and people have found a way to get refunds and bash the games just for the sake of it. This is a gaming community issue that has been going on for years now. Most people didn't even played Suicide Squad but will somehow tell you they know about the story and gameplay just from what they've seen on KZbin or other mediums. They haven't read comics and it shows. It's even dumb to bash the game believing the JL is dead, lmao. There is no way that batman can continue being a vigilante after this game. Not only did he break his rume about Not killing people, but he also uses a gun. I don't think i ruined Arkham there are just a lot of inconsistency. One of them is that captain boomerang is suppose to be dead as we learn in the Red Hood DLC. I also think is bs that HARLEY QUINN can make a counter to batman's fear toxin. There are also many points through out the game where the league are dumb as shit, John stewart could have brought them to Brainiac but decide to stop and let Lex save them. While that i do agree that i didn't kill the Arkham verse it just Changes too many things from the games, and so many inconsistency that it dosen't fell like a game in the Arkham verse. Point two, with previous live service titles, nope they are still as bad as they once released. Gotham Knights and Marvel Avengers; similar to Skull & Bones and Suicide Squad will age as fine milk. Point two, Gotham knights wasn’t a live service game just a standalone co-op story game. Marvel avengers improved quite a bit over its life both in quality and quantity of content the base game itself was improved drastically I still think it’s not amazing and it’s clear with later updates they lost funding the game now is still overall a huge improvement over how the game was at launch. I haven’t played skull & bones and have no clue in it’s quality. People often look back at stuff and rethink their opinions as I stated in the video it’s not magic.
