Keith Morter is a second-generation grower in eastern Oregon. He runs Keith Morter Farms with his son Austin. They grow 3900 acres of a spring and winter wheat rotation, including Hard Red Winter, Soft White, and Dark Northern Spring varieties.
Keith has been on his regenerative journey for 15 years and has observed healthier soil by incorporating no-till management, biological inputs, and the removal of anhydrous ammonia as his nitrogen source.
In a region where there is little rainfall, root growth is of utmost importance. Keith has seen wonderful results using AEA products that include BioCoat Gold and the Regenerative Soil Primer.

What about feedlot manure as a fertilizer/soil builder?

Thanks for your question Matthew! Manures and Compost can be a great addition to improving soil and providing additional nutrition if the quality is there and it can be done at the relevant scale.
