No Till Food Plot With Rye

we let the winter rye,wheat,triticale, and oats grow out this spring. we also planted nitro clover in the spring to help build soil. now we're planting into the cereal grains with a soil building blend, then we will roll it over with atv and lawn roller. This Plot has been planted 2 yrs straight with brassicas and now the next 2-3yrs we will be working on fixing and building the soil. #foodplot #deer #whitetaildeer

I’m curious, why are you choosing not to grow brassicas for a couple years? Should brassicas be avoided for soil building?

@Novum-su9ie to prevent disease and pest problems in your soil. Also, depleting soil fertility can become an issue of planting a high nitrogen user. Hope that helps
