I delivery food in Norway, and when demand is low I try to learn then. Also, try to include short frases when interact with restaurants, customer and providers like my mechanic. I speak like a toddler, but very slowly introduce more vocabulary.

Thanks for this. Reducing expectations is not always a good idea, but giving up when I can't find 30 minutes or an hour isn't good either! Just 10 minutes is way better than nothing.

True, reducing expectations too much is not a good idea either. But having realistic expectations can help :-)

We all came down with Covid on the same day in mid June. Even my 22 year old was in bed for 3 weeks. Three months later, we’re just starting to feel normal again. It’s time to get back on track, even if it’s just learning one simple sentence a day. Thanks for the reminder! Very timely.

Love the videos. They really help and encourage me to learn Norwegian. Would love to see more live streams though

@TheNorwegianSchool yeah, it would be great to have one more before Christmas or New year's to talk about Norwegian holidays and traditions

I watch Peppa Gris! 🤣 Actually any cartoon or children’s show is an excellent way to pick up some vocabulary. Sometimes I understand a lot, sometimes absolutely nothing, but I am never discouraged, because even if I don’t understand anything, I am still getting used to the tone and melody of the language. Even a few minutes makes a difference.
