There are lots of videos like these. Only reason this gets so many views is because she is young, attractive and has a nice ass and thighs. Nobody would care if an ugly 40 year old anorexic woman did the same.

Wow. Usually that part of NYC always seems to have movement, but when you filmed this, there is NOTHING. No other sounds, no car noises, no people moving around. It adds to the drama of Johanna's skating that the ice is the only place and she's the only person we see.

Spectacular-the choreography, the skating, the camera work. Your skating is so emotionally expressive-and this is a compelling interpretation of the song. The straight on camera work is brilliant, and so is the intensity of your eye contact. I love the modern dance elements, the approaches towards the camera, the pushing away, the spare use of spins and the intensity of that double axle. And it’s so satisfying to hear your skates on the ice. I have to say, Johanna, that this video is totally addictive! I always watch it when it shows up on my KZbin.

I played ice hockey for almost 10 years as a kid into my teen years, used to love it and was essentially the best skater on the team in the speed and control competitions we had, but gave it up one day and I don't remember why. This just made me order some new CCM's to get back into it.

Astounding! Mezmerizing! The perspective of her flying in the night sky knowing that she is high up on a sky scraper. Reminds me of a James Bond movie theme with the more haunting chord progressions. I mean this in the BEST way, not in the base way those movies can be.What is not to LOVE! Five minutes later and I STILL have chills running over my body!

Bravo to Jordan and Johanna. Best video yet from On Ice Perspectives. The phrase "taking it to a whole new level" is absurdly overused on KZbin, but here he have an actual example of it. The "forth wall" was broken, and a skater actually looked at the viewer. But even that is not the whole innovation, which is that a piece was created with the camera in mind, a camera that can now move even as a skater can. Bliss upon bliss! Let's face it, the camera and the skater are made for each other. What if the combination photography + skating was thought of as a whole new art form? And what if people started creating new works for this new form, not limited to borrowed ideas from ballet or ballroom dance, or to what 1 or two skaters can do in 4 minutes in front of judges? What if you were allowed to cut from shot to shot, as filmakers do? What if skating was not about getting points for how many rotations you can do, like an athlete, or a robot, but where can you bring the audience? What if, what if, what if... ...the possibilites were unlimited? The future is calling. It's exciting! Let's answer the phone!

I dont know anything about ice skating but the clean sound of the skate (if its what you call it) sliding to the ice was magnificent. I don't know , its just that the way the movement and the sound of sliding to the ice differs in every lyrics of the song. Feels incredible. I'm not even familliar to the song but listening to it while watching this performance made my heart clench. The anger, that you feel when you know that something about you is wrong but you don't have the courage to make it right. . 1:31 that part really made me understand the meaning of the song. And 1:53 was the conclusion.

This might be my favorite video on KZbin. Johanna's beautiful and graceful form on a rink in one of the most iconic cities in the world, the lighting (both the natural sky and the theatrical lighting), or the camera movements (especially the up-close shots that fade out to reveal the solitude of the moment, ie. 1:10). The most iconic part that pulls all this together is this hauntingly amazing song, the empty city, and Johanna's all black outfit. Just masterfully done all around.

What can I say, in love. ❤️👏, Greetings from Spain.
