I am a frequent traveler to Thailand. Normally I ride from my country. Most of you guys think goods are cheaper in Thailand. But in reality it is not everything is cheap. When compared to exchange rate, may be for you it is cheaper. However I see that most of the items are either in par or slightly higher. If you are looking for cheaper goods, then you may want to go into the local market where those cheap goods from china are brought in. Personally I will not do any shopping in Thailand, especially in big cities. Accommodation and Food are cheaper...only if you know where to look for....The rest, I have my reservations.

Question. In the USA stores usually have temp socks so you can try on shoes. I would never put my bare foot in a shoe that possibly somebody else has worn!!!!!

Any idea when Thailand will start allowing in tourists once again, they need to start opening up to tourists fast or face economic collapse? There is no reason why Thailand cant do a Covid19 test once you land and give the results in 24 hours, while contract tracing people, other option is to have tourists coming in with their own texts taken within 72 hours of landing.
