Class audit, basically that guy half way through was mad that he or his staff didn’t do their job properly.

Yea between buying the ticket and getting through the gate, you would expect everything to go through the "proper channels"

Its amazing how the Inverness accent is different from the Elgin accent even though only 38 miles apart
@byMRTNjournals Жыл бұрын
If you're going by my accent I've lived in Aberdeen and Glasgow for years so it's a bit of a mix. But yes, there's a strong Doric influence which isn't as prevalent in Inverness

The first thing he said before I had a chance to record was something about "in the event of a fire". Can't remember his exact words

£10 just for a platform ticket, that seems really expensive. New subscriber sent here by Northern audits

10p mate. I mumble a lot 😀🙏

5:50 What a stupid argument from the station guy. He doesn't know where any people who are waiting for a train are. They could be standing on the end of the platform so they can have a conversation on their phone away from other people, they could just be walking up and down as they wait for their train. Does he need to be told about every movement of every passenger. What a numbskull.

The worker behind the window is filmed all day long by his employer... Why the phobic response to a customer?
@byMRTNjournals Жыл бұрын
My guess is that he doesn't want to be on social media. The irony is that if he just served the ticket he wouldn't stand out like a sore thumb. The guy who approached me on the platform would have been the only notable interaction.

@@byMRTNjournals I try to explain that off camera on many friendlier audits i.e walk on by or just be as nice as normal and try to help. That way you'll likely be instantly forgotten or remembered for the right reasons.

Staffed Stations At a staffed station, please call at the booking office where you will be asked to sign the declaration at the foot of this form. You can save time by printing it and bringing it with you - along with an appropriate means of personal identification. At a station with automatic or manual gatelines, please make yourself known to staff who will ensure that you receive a briefing from the person in charge. Again you can save time by printing off the declaration beforehand. You may be issued with a Visitor's badge which should be returned before departure.
