I never liked how people (women especially) treated this beautiful woman during that time and even now. The disrespect was unreal. She is gorgeous with beautiful style and dimples. I 100% understand why Usher fell for her. She is class - period. And with all this mess coming out...we understand that for a woman like her to be in that world was way harder than we could ever understand. Where others fell by the wayside and were ultimately destroyed...look how she came through all of that. I am proud of her. When you compare her to the other celebrity women of that entire "friend" group around Usher and others...she is the Queen. We need to give her that honor. She deserves every ounce of it. This interview was inspiring.

Great interview! Very informative. My heart goes out to Tameka (Mrs Raymond) on the loss of Kyle, despite the years. It is a loss that a mother never overcame, but gets stronger with time. Be strong my sister. Motherhood is still a blessing, and Kyle's memory still lives on.

I agree with keeping the name, for sons keepsakes. Growing up with parents who got married before children means a lot In my family. As a result of the upbringing, outsiders trust to one day become part of the family. Bonding in our family can be very contagious. It is like a glue. The more , the merrier...

Beautiful Tameka. I learned early-on to only purchase "timeless" pieces and people complement decades old purchases. Aligning your last name with your children's eliminates questions. My family answers the door and engage the Jehovah Witnesses, we have attended their meeting, and conventions. I've learned a lot from JW. I enjoy all black men. My first husband was darkskin and my current husband of 35 years in lightskin. I do not have a color preference. I base my attraction on how well a man treats me. Condolences on the loss of your son. I lost a son to illness and unfortunatly, I know the pain of the loss of a child. I developed a love of travel while working 8 years as an international banker. I like Tameka. We have a lot in common. God bless Tameka and her family.

I watched the BET Awards Show 2024, where Usher mentioned his ex-wife and decided to try to check her out. I found this beautiful, smart, delightful woman who seems to be a force in her own right. She’s an interesting, intelligent mother to those wonderful sons. I can tell that she’s discovered these many layers about herself over the years as we all should. Love this interview ❤ I do think that Pastor misconstrued the preference about light skin and dark skin and colorism in the historical scheme of things. He knows that dark skinned people have had a harder time and that has nothing to do with preference. It’s the fact that dark skinned is equated to ugly or unacceptable.

One thing I thank God for is I never got that pretty for a dark girl comment. I always just got I’m beautiful or really pretty, that’s it. A cousin of mine would get that comment (crazy because she’s maybe a shade darker at best) idk just crazy. We have to do away that mentality.

I was raised Baptist. Later in life I met Christ who brought me up to the Heavens. The truth came to me through Christ.
