It’s not about Liverpool in this situation. If you are anti super league and anti corporatisation of football you should be anti jurgen to leipzig. It’s deep irony if you do one without the other. @@dwizz4391it's not about Super league either. None of the RB clubs ever wanted to join the super league. In fact Leipzig were amoung the clubs against joining the super league. So not sure what you're on, but you are missinformed. Also do not compare RB with City group. They are miles apart. If you'd know anything about football you'll realize that both Leipzig & Salzburg grew football in their countries, they always brought young talented players and basically helped raise european football through scouting & training these young talents. Szoboszlai is just one of many great quality players that played for RB clubs. Take a step back and watch how much good RB did in both Germany and Austria and then you'll realize why Klopp actually took the job.

Dortmund Fans should remember Dortmund was almost bankrupt when Klopp arrived , and Klopp had to play with a bunch of Young unknown Players and build title winning Team from that. Klopp & Watze helped to get the finances back in place. But a Football Club needs a lot of Money to stay in the upper part of the table it is very unlikely that a Club constantly Overperformances on small Budget. The RB Trick to have a Premium Team and Team for Talents that want to join the Premium Team is implemented in Football by having Multiple Clubs in different countries. hmmmm, I wonder how we could equate that to UK football? Wonder how Liverpool fans would feel if he was head of Redbull Soccer should Leeds be competing with / often beating Liverpool (that would be the Leipzig / Dortmund UK equivalent maybe......). Liverpool fan - Klopp has often had a ruthless streak in him (which makes him who he is, by the way). He fought against a few things at Liverpool (didn't like it when LFC were boo'd after Super League proposed joining, didn't like flags being taken down from the Kopp when there was a dispute over.... ticket prices I think?), He has even admitted in the past that he got a few things 'wrong', and needed fan bases to 'remind him'. But, for me, seems like a sensible move. But maybe I wouldn't think that if I was a Dortmund fan. The 'edge' that always exists with Klopp, in my opinion: he is a winner. And sometimes, that means beating the people he used to be best friends with. I'm sure Dortmund fans were singing his name from the roof when he was beating Mainz by the way hahah. In regards to football globalisation? Redbull are the moderates compared to some of the owners out there hah! YNWA Klopp - missed sorely at Liverpool

Rival fan here. Klopp has to be unique for me as a rival in the sense that I lowkey wish he was still in charge of Liverpool and still around. Even to the detriment of my team and there’s not too many managers or people in football I could say that about. Maybe that a testament to his greatness. So great that even rivals couldn’t hate him. As for his role, and who it will aggravate, it is quite a specific and personal issue to German football fans and Dortmund fans. I don’t see why Liverpool fans would be bothered by it because unfortunately the EPL has long since been ruined by corporate intervention and corruption more recently. The bundesliga isn’t quite on the same level and who can blame German fans for standing up for what they believe in?

Liverpool supporter… I agree with you Mark. He was always going to get a high profile job after Liverpool. This sounds like the type of vague job that offers lots of intrigue without a high amount of stress.

Still not the management of a team, he's not going back to the sideline. International head of Football for Redbull. That includes everything they own. Executive position in a suit and in an office with his feet up! Where they deserve to be.

Half our recent signings have come from the red bull system, we have loaned and sold players to red bull teams aswell. Hell , our old assistant manager is managing a red bull team... Dont see why any Liverpool fan would be mad at this.

Jurgen is his own man and can make his own decisions. People are making more out of this than it is. Being head of football at the Red Bull group isn't the same as club management. It's not as full on day-to-day, and he doesn't have to deal with the annoyances of club owners, the media and fans having a go. I'm an LFC fan and don't mind Jurgen taking another role. It would be very short-sighted to expect him not to want to get back to his passion, which is football. He has the ability to influence things at a higher level, and I think he can do a good job. I think he has a clause written in that if certain jobs are available, he can go for them, which I think will be the German national job. Jurgen has done many great things for Liverpool and Dortmund that cannot be taken away, let's be happy that he is back in a role that is his passion which means the media and club owners over recent times haven't driven the passion out of him.

I, as a Liverpool fan, will always be grateful to Klopp for what he has done during his tenure at Anfield. I have no qualms about him joining RB. But then, those RB-owned clubs (Leipzig, Salzburg, New York, etc) are not our EPL rivals, but RB Leipzig are a rival to BVB Dortmund. So, the reaction from Dortmund fans is understandable. Imagine Klopp left Liverpool and then joined INEOS as a planner to develop Manyoo. I would have felt the same as Dortmund fans are feeling now.

Don't forget, Dalglish did something similar. Quit Liverpool due to stress & fatigue (Feb, 1991), only to take on the Blackburn job later the same year (Oct, 1991).
