Anyone who downplays how good this girl is has a few screws loose. Thousands (maybe millions) of people don’t just randomly start talking about someone for their skills/achievements/greatness for no reason. CC is the real deal, accept it. She’ll be spoken about in future amongst other names such as Tiger, Jordan, Federer, Bradman, Bolt, Gretzky, Ruth, Maradona, Pele, Ali, Williams, Comaneci, Biles, etc. Groundbreaking game changing talent.

I love how they say she only shoots threes and then tell you to watch Angel Reese stand under a basket and rebound her own missed layups. Even if threes were all she did, it was far more exciting than watching under the basket rebounds. Caitlin is an elite shooter, an elite passer, an elite ball handler, an elite teammate, and she always gives credit to others for her successes. She is a role model for the kids of today

In the elite eight in her junior year she had a 41 point triple double and followed that up with 41 points in the final four the next game against #1 ranked South Carolina. Both games were ridiculous! You have to see them.

This was at Kinnick, Iowa's Football Stadium, holds 73,000 people. It was really cold that day. At 7:57 marker is the Children's Hospital. They can watch out the windows onto the field. At the end of the first quarter of the Football games, the players, staff, and fans wave to the kids. It is called The Wave. A GREAT tradition

Don't let the media or these so called veterans and experts fool you. You can see with your own eyes and stats don't lie. CC is a great all rounder but my favourite part of her game is the passing and the assists. She is not a glory seeker, even though there are times she could take many shots for herself. She knows you have to have a team mentality to win, especially in the WNBA, where opponents are bigger and stronger. When you start to watch her W games, how she still manages to put up great scores with everyone marking her, grabbing on her, fouling her constantly is a feat in itself.

Exactly, "on a football field," but she's no goat... LOL I don't know how many times I've watched this, but it never get's old, especially seeing it through new perspectives, like yours and a few others I can count on. I have no room in my heart to hate anyone, but lots of room to love CC's ballin. Thanks!

We're watching history. I'm from Iowa and lived and worked in West Des Moines so I have been watching her for almost four and I'm definitely addicted. But it is her skill and IQ that makes her popular. Anyone that has played basketball on a regular basis can see how special she is.

The whole last season was magical. It was like watching a movie. Even though Iowa had CC they were still underdogs to the big BB schools like South Carolina, UCONN and LSU. But they had a culture of not only winning but care for each other and respect and love for the fans. It was something special to experience. There’s an end of year video that would be good for you to see to understand the Iowa WBB culture.

Really refreshing to see people peering through the media and league smokescreen of diminishing her extraordinary skills and what she can do on a court. True, I was just saying that to a friend...that's why she has had so many turnovers...because the pros aren't used to her pace and passing at such a ferocious speed. Her team mates kept dropping her passes. Sides has had to pull the reins on CC so her team can ease in to catching up with CC's intense passing speed and game pace. She truly is teaching the league how to play her kind of ball game!
@ewdp85423 ай бұрын
You are right, she is SHE, but you know what? She's humble, she's respectful and kind. She never says anything bad about anyone. She's also funny and apparently a jokester with her teammates but also generous too. Not to say she isn't human, she is, the weight she carries is huge. Go see the clip of her meeting her idol, Maya Moore!

Back in the 80s, ncaa tournament games were played in the old Hoosier Dome there in Indy (the colts original stadium). They would erect the floor in the middle of the field and build out some extra seating.

The biggest fail for Clark is her coach, Sides. She's does all she can to hold her back, denying her the last shot in close games, poor roster management and just not putting Clark as the team's centerpiece.

Her teammates were catching all her passes, makes it easy to have assists. They knew that they have to move to catch her passes because they won't be coming directly at them but to where it'll help them towards the basket. caitlin's Fever teammates are starting to understand her passes now.

Gotta say she makes me think "Female Larry Bird" when I watch her play. Watched Bird live in Houston knock the Rockets out. She is that good. Haven't watched much basketball after being spoiled by Larry, Magic, and the Dream Team. Now is your chance WNBA to get new fans and a chance to actually run a business and stop leaching off the NBA while still whining. Woman up.

Hi JB - Haters are still trying to portray CC's game as nothing more than a volume shooter. It exposes such willful ignorance. Even you here, you mention this hater commentary you read and you rightly explain she hasn't even shot a 3 yet and looks dominant scoring. Here's a question for the haters, if CC is such a "one-trick pony" shooting from the logo, how did she lead the entire nation in assists, by a large margin, three years in a row and why is she #2 ALL-TIME in assists for the NCAA? These haters sound so stupid and weak, if you have EVER watched a game she played in, you know she is at least as good a passer as she is a scorer. And don't bother trying to switch the argument to her turnover count. When you are #1 in both scoring and assists in the country on a team that is barely a top 25 team without her, and you are playing in the finals two years in a row in a single elimination tournament, you are the best player.
